Lux entered a giant white building with nothing to show what it was for. This building was small and windowless. He entered and there was only a single steel door leading to an elevator.

Lux entered the elevator, and it descended deep into the ground after about 5 minutes it finally stopped. The doors opened to reveal a giant lab with multiple walking around working on different projects.

"I'm glad you've arrived so soon." An elder looking man with a white lab coat said. He had no hair, and his left eye was replaced with a red and black monocle. he had sinister look that was only highlighted by his appearance. He was known as "The doctor": head scientist of this secret lab.

Together they walked down the facility and into a room with a large multi cylinder machine that had a metal table under it. Lux quickly went to lie down on the table while the doctor took his place behind a hovering control tablet.

"So, how are you feeling about the new drone cybernetics installed?" The doctor asked while pressing buttons on the tablet.

"The new installs felt right but they were too slow and not aerodynamic enough. The feeling they gave also didn't work with the vision implants causing confusion while switching."

"Ok well we have already come up with a new upgrade for your optics. I also analyzed and noted your fight between the lotus child, Cain. What do you feel started wearing down first your body or engine?" The doctor asked while still swiping and pressing buttons on the tablet.

"The problem in the fight was the damage my body was taking. I didn't expect him to keep up so well with my attacks. It caused problems to the engine which forced me to turn off the overdrive. The 45% increase in power also caused damage to my arms and fists due to the power forced into them. The overflow energy was being poured out through the vents and wasted."

"I understand now." The doctor said and finished clicking on the tablet. He made a call to the room adjacent. "I want an arm build from the new metals you have collected. Add increased energy circulation and an energy storage canister. I also want a deployable plasma shield equipped to the left arm." The doctor told them and pressed a button.

A syringe connected to a mechanical tentacle popped out from the cylinder above. It injected Lux's neck with a green liquid causing him to fall asleep in a matter of seconds. Many different arms and metallic tentacles came out of the machine above.

First his hands were taken apart then the arms to the shoulder. His left trapezius that held the drones were taken apart. Then new pieces came appeared from the wall. His eyes were next to be taken out and dissembled.

The machine began to assemble and place the new pieces on his back. A test was run to make sure that the core was compatible. the optics were next to be replaced with new sliver ones. the pieces to assemble two light blue arms were brought out next. They had a magical shine to them and each part that was placed glowed brighter after.

After the arms were reconstructed, the legs were next to be dissembled. This part took more time due to the sensitivity of the metallic nerve system. the new legs were the same color as the arms. the assemble was a quick process.

"Sir, the Seirus ring is finally functional. Should we implement it in the new core construction?" a speaker connecting to the other room announced.

"We have some extra time so continue the testing and modification process then we will install it when he returns from the mission. If time permits, we are going to start the process on a repairing system." The doctor stated while already calculating the time required to construct and test the core.

"Doctor, you know we are on borrowed time for implementing the Seirus System. Just introducing the ring should give us some extra time. Mr. Cyber doesn't take kindly to tardiness." The speaker announced again.

"DO NOT tell me how much time we have left to get the Seirus System set-up. AND DO NOT tell me what Mr. Cyber takes into consideration. I will decide when it is logical to make changes. If you disagree, then allow me to personally rip your brain out and feed it to the Ent beasts." The doctor slammed his hands down and roars out.

"Sorry doctor, also the new equipment has been shipped from Cyber city. The problem is there is no one to bring the shipment back. We should have the cyborg bring over the shipment." The speaker suggested.

"One ridiculous statement after another. Do you really think Lux has what it takes to move through Cyber city and not be taken for parts." The doctor said growing more and more aggravated.

"Of course, he can he'll be with the four humans, and they aren't too weak to stop people from dismantling him." The speaker said trying to persuade the doctor.

"I'll think about it and decide the best course of action myself." The doctor said with a mumble as he could find no logical reason to disagree.

He then started the process to wake up Lux. The machine injects an orange serum into Lux's neck and after 5 five minutes he starts to wake up.

"So, how much time is left? Can I go to the testing room." This was the first thing Lux said after waking up.

"You'll have to test the new limbs and plasma shield during your outing. I also saw fit to add an attachable blaster to your hamstrings." The doctor said and went into great detail about how they work as they left the room.

As they headed to the elevator, the numbers started to change till the hit 20 the floor they were on. Everyone looked to the elevator since only one person that could freely use that elevator was not in the building. The doors started to open, and everyone tensed up. The doctor and Lux stopped in their tracks. They all knew who this was.

The first pair of doors opened and what was a few seconds turned into an eternity. Then the second pair opened, the world was in slow motion. The elevator itself was dark and as the lights flooded in a shadow was cast over the tall figure's face.

a large iron boot was the first thing to leave the elevator followed by the rest the man.
