Annabelle's pov

I was shocked,there is no one to help,I dont even know what to do.....

I started shouting, maybe the people in our neighborhood will help me but all seems to be in vain.

"Mum please don't do this to me,I shouted but she did not stand up".

"Who would help me now,I am doomed!!!" I shouted.

I shouted for a long time and there was no reply.

I lifted my face up to realize that there is someone to help,one of our neighbors.

Pls help me!pls help me! don't allow my mum to die,I said under my breathe.

He helped me to carry her and use his car to rush her to the hospital.

On getting to the hospital,the nurses rushed to us and help us to take her to the ward.

I started crying,rolling all over the floor."I don't know where to run to,she is the only one I have" I think am going crazy.

If my mum should die,me also will die......

Lissy's pov

Oooooh!ooooh! Why is the love of my life not picking my calls, what happen to him.

I thought we will see at the concert today but it was not possible,the security were too tight.

And am missing him already,why is he doing this to me,if Daniel Carter does not get married to me,he is not going to marry anyone else"I snapped.

I need to check up on him tommorow morning at the office.

Let me come and search for the gown that I will wear,I need to wear a sexy gown so that if I should see him tomorrow he will not stop thinking about me, and I will be making him to go crazy.

I know he will not resist me, because the Daniel I know does not resist girls,especially sexy,curvy and beautiful girls like me.I must marry this guy by fire by force.

I want to be swimming in money,I can't afford to loose him.

I want people to be addressing me as the Mr popular man's wife.

Annabelle's pov

I waited anxiously for the doctor to come out and tell me what happened to my mum.

After some minutes he invited me to his office.

Doctor! Doctor! Doctor! "Please what happened to my mum" I cried out.

He was just staring at me and shaking.

"Doctor pls talk to me,what happened" i shouted.

"Am sorry madam,your mum have a heart failure and she might die,if we did not perform a surgery for her in the next two weeks"he said.

"Perform it doctor, perform it" I said innocently.

He was amused .......he smiled.

"before the surgery can be performed you must pay five million dollar" he said.

U mean five hundred ? I asked surprisingly.

He was just looking at me like have gone mad.

"Doctor talk to me,did you mean five hundred naira" I asked again.

I said five million naira and you must pay it.

"What??" I screamed.

"Doctor you must be kidding me" I said and smiled.

"Am not joking miss,you must pay five million dollars so that your mum won't die" he said again.

"Doctor you mean five million dollars" I said and passed out.

The next day

I opened my eyes and realized that I was on a bed,I checked everywhere and noticed I was in a hospital.

Doctor! Doctor! Doctor she is awake,I heard a nurse said.

What happenedto me,I asked.

"Somebody should talk to me, please where is my mum,why am I here" what did you do to me,I said.

Aunty you passed out yesterday when the doctor told you the amount you are to pay for your mum bill,she said.

"I passed out,how come" I don't even know when tears flowed out of my eyes.

My mind drifted to what the doctor told me earlier and I don't even know that the nurse was talking to me.

Aunty! Aunty! Aunty! I heard my name and snapped out of my thoughts

"What are you thinking about??have been trying to tell you can something about your mum,but you seems off"she said.

"Aunty thinking can cause damage to your health,pls stop thinking" she said and shook her head and left.

Oh my mum, what will I do now,nowhere to go.

I don't have anybody,my salary for ten years can not even pay the bills,I thought.

Daniel's pov

Days are passing huh,and time waits for no one.

"Before I know what is happening the d-day will come" I thought.

Am really hungry,I need to call one of the maids to order food for me,I thought and left my room.

On getting to the sitting room,I saw my mum and Lizzy laughing.

"What is this witch doing here huh" but have told her several times that I don't need her again"I thought.

Oooooh!ooooh! It must not be what am thinking,I chuckled.this girl must be kidding me,she thinks I would stoop so low and marry her.

Because I know on a daily basis she is not like this.....

She opens her leg for people anyhow, like a public toilet.Nah I can't.

Even if am to get married in a months time,I can't marry her because I know she is after my money.

I walked towards them,she came to hug me,but I resisted.

Mum what are you doing with this thing,I said.

"But both of you are friends,why will you call her thing Daniel"my mum said.

"Mum we need to talk" i said.

"Honey are you coming back ,because am missing you already"she said.

Before I come back if I should meet you inside this house,you will be dead and I will feed your body to my dogs,I said and left with my mum.

" Mum why will you invite that prostitute to the house,we are not friends and we can not be friends,she is just one of the b* tches that I screw and dump,she is just here because of my money"I said

I thought you guys and friend so I invited her over,and since you are looking for a wife,I presumed she be a good wife materials,she said

No mum,she is not.

"Ok, anything for you my son" she said and I gave her a warming hug.

Annabelle's pov

Have been staring at mum face since I left my ward.

There is no where to go,I don't have who to run to.

I started crying,if I should even work now the money can not reach such amount.

Suddenly my phone started ringing,I picked it to discover it was jenny. Hello Anna baby,why are you not in work yet,ok ok you slept off today again,just be fast ooo,the

Boss is around and she seems to be angry,she said. hello!hello!hello talk now,why are you playing pranks with me this morning,she said. Jenny,my mum is sick,I said crying

What! What happen to her?where are you now,are you at home,she said. No hospital,I said

Which hospital,she asked God's own hospital,I said.

Ok after work,I will come and meet you there, take care of yourself.

Alright

And she ended the call.

What am I going to do,I can not just sit down here.

I will make sure I do everything possible to keep you alive,I said.

Even though,I know she could not hear me.

I need to go and search for the money,I thought and pecked her before leaving the hospital.
