Bad Wolves

Victoria's POV

"Can you feel it?" I asked Trina through her mind, and she looked at me with confusion.

"What? I don't know what you are talking about," my friend responded.

"Don't move and make any sound," I said, and I could tell she looked amused that I panicked.

"Relax, Victoria, I don't feel any danger; we are safe," she added as she slowly got up from the ground and looked around.

"I told you not to move, and you exactly did the opposite," I mumbled, frustrated.

"Don't worry, and I know my power, and like what I told you, we are safe. If someone was near us, I could tell he was an ally and not a foe." She said with confidence, and I sat up on the ground, looking around the area.

We are near the city's outskirts, and I felt glad we didn't encounter any hybrids in the vicinity.

"Are you sure we can trust your psychic ability? What if it will put us in danger, Trina." I said, feeling worried.
