He had free points to put in any of the stats. He knew what most of them meant but was confused on a couple. Specifically vitality, and the difference between intelligence and wisdom.
"What does the vitality stat affect?"
[Vitality affects how fast your body recovers]
"I see… what is the difference between intelligence and wisdom?"
[Intelligence affects the strength and size of your mana, while wisdom affects the recovery and control of mana]
Hmm…
He wasn't sure on how the magic system of the rapture will work yet, so the safest bet is going for physical stats in the beginning. He could still feel how tired his body was after that short fight, so he knew he needed a higher constitution, as well as recovery time. He didn't need much besides that at the moment, so he decided on those two.

[Friends/Groups]
His health had gone up by one already. It had only been about a minute since he ran away from those people, so he assumed it was about 1 health per minute ratio. Hopefully this had gone down a little bit since he upgraded vitality.
He waited in the car for another 15 minutes, until his hp stopped going up after reaching 125. So it's 10 hp for constitution and 5 for vitality. Not too bad.
He maneuvered himself out of the car and looked for people around him. Thankfully no humans were around, but there were goblins. He saw two groups of three and one group of two just on this street. He wasn't confident in taking a group of three without taking substantial damage, so he moved towards the group of two.
One of the groups of three goblins was in between him and the smaller group, so he had to sneak past some cars to go around them. He didn't want to alert that group while fighting the smaller one, so he made a simple plan.
He moved to the other side of the group of two so that the group of three was farther away. He found a place where the road was broke a little bit and got a good sized piece of asphalt, and then hurled it at the closest goblins head. He wasn't the best shot, so it missed his head and only clipped his shoulder, however this was enough to alert him.
The goblin looked towards him and his eyes starting glowing red. It started to run at him frantically, just like the last ones. It's companion noticed that he was running away and quickly followed behind him, eyes glowing.
He again waited for the first to get close and swung with all his might.

He tried his best to get ready in time to swing at the other one, but ended up only being able to block his attack. This goblin has a rusted short sword and swung it vertically towards him, which he blocked shoddily. But his bad block was enough to stop the goblins attack, and swing right back at him.
His swing only hit the goblin in the shoulder, but luckily it was on the sword holding side so he couldn't attack anymore. The goblin started swinging at him, but since he was made of bone it hurt him more than helped him.
The red went out of the goblins eyes, and it suddenly started screaming and clutching its arm. This was very convenient, and allowed him to swing one final time and chop its head off.

He sat on the ground there and heaved for a little while, catching his breath. Or he would've if he had lungs. He actually just sat there, looking very dead.
After a while he was ready to go again, and decided it was time to try a group of three. The group of three from earlier was still in the area, so he decided to throw something at one of them and get its attention first. He grabbed a rock and approached.
His throw collided with its chin this time, disorienting it. The sound alerted its companions and caused them to run at him. He was ready this time. He killed the first easily, and blocked the second. He was mid swing at the second one when the third came and stabbed him in the ribs with his rough dagger

[-3 hp]
He managed to kill the second one with just that strike, but he was in danger of the last one because of his negligence. He realized that it's weapon was very ineffective against his body, and swiftly took it down.

[Skill Unlocked: Beginner Sword Mastery]
His exp was now at 25, only one goblin away from leveling up again. Before that milestone though, he managed to unlock a skill. The skill seemed pretty straight forwards, but he decided to get clarification.
"System, Beginner Sword Mastery."
[Beginner Sword Mastery]
[Level: 1
You have just begun down the path of the sword.
+5% Sharpness
+5% All sword skills]
The skill seemed like it would be a foundational skill that he would always use as long as he was on the path of the sword. He didn't have anything else at the moment, so he was content with going down this path.
As he was looking at this, the other group of three got closer and noticed him.
The only reason he knew they were approaching was because of their garbled battle cries as they ran towards him.
He didn't manage to kill the first one immediately this time, but he did manage to cut its side. Even though the first was already injured, the other two soon showed up after it. He swung at the second one instead of going to finish the first but got blocked by it's piece of wood. The attack pushed the goblin back, stunning it. The third one hit him with its sword, cracking his collarbone.
[-9 hp]
He turned around and sliced at it and managed to hit its neck. It fell to the ground and cried out a garbled wail. While he was doing that, the first one recovered enough to slice at his back and hit his shoulder blade.
[-5 hp]
He turned to finish it, but the second one swung at him and he had to block it. When the wood hit his sword it finally broke, making it useless. The first one was able to hit him again on his free arm, leaving a visible fracture.
[-12 hp]
He hit the first ones head and it finally died. Finally he killed the defenseless goblin that broke its stick.
