8 Days Remain!

After the practice was over everyone was discharged to relax.

Evan walked around the office to get familiar with it.

Soon Evan bumped into Carolina who was buying herself some coffee.

Evan asked Carolina a question.

"What's up with the slow response during our 1v1,are you getting old?"

Carolina frowned and looked at Evan.

"My age may be hidden from the public,but it doesn't mean I'm gonna tell you my age."

Evan puts his hand on his chin.

"Judging by the movements and reaction time,are you 25?"

Carolina spits out her coffee.

"No,I'm not."

Carolina said as she grabbed a napkin which was being given by the cashier.

Evan gave Carolina judgemental eyes.

"Your definitely 25 and are soon going to enter retirement."

Carolina shakes her head.

"I'm still good enough to compete even if I am stretching the age by a bit."

Carolina threw the napkin away after using it.

Carolina began walking away.

"Your the beginning of the next generation of stars,don't waste that opportunity to make a name for yourself and be forever remembered."

Evan walked back upstairs into his own room.

Evan closed the door and slapped up his poster of Huang Zekai on his wall.

"Someday I'll be just as great as you."

Evan logged in and began grinding resources and equipment for personal items improvements.

Soon it was 2:45 AM and Evan got a private message from Bonji.

"Challenge me,Challenge me,Challenge me"

Bonji spammed into Evan DM until Evan finally responded.

"What do you want?"

Bonji sends a pouting emoji to Evan.

"Just to challenge you to a 1v1 tomorrow."

Evan stare at his screen.

"What about no?"

Bonji was soon quiet.

Evan thought.

"Maybe he just passed out from exhaustion,but speaking of passing out I probably should be heading to bed."

Evan logged out and laid on his bed and fell asleep very quickly.

The next day,Evan was woken up by Tao Xuan bursting into his room full of excitement.

"Welcome to your first full day with Team Civil,Evan Tian!"

Evan shot up out of shock from the sound of excitement.

Evan rubbed his eyes and yawned.

Tao Xuan got to the side of Evan bed.

"What's wrong,not used to waking up like this?"

Evan got up and nodded.

Tao Xuan pat's Evan on the shoulder.

"Get ready,because we have some practice to do."

Tao Xuan shortly left as Evan went to brush his teeth.

Evan walked out as Tao Xuan was waiting for him downstairs.

"I really woke you up early for us to get measurements for the team shirt and jackets."

Tao Xuan laughed.

Evan just nodded not wanting to argue so early in the morning.

Soon Evan had all of his measurements and went to go buy himself hot tea to keep himself awake.

Evan also bought some food from the office cafeteria for his breakfast.

Shortly after Evan finished his breakfast the rest of the team came down to grab theirs.

Evan got up and walked back up but then was stopped by Tao Xuan.

"Here is your team jacket and shirt."

Tao Xuan smiled passing the team jacket and shirt over to Evan.

Evan grabbed it and said.

"Thank you for the amount of time and resources your spending on me."

Tao Xuan puts both of his hands on Evan shoulders.

"Don't worry,me and the shareholders have full faith in you,don't worry about getting fired."

Tao Xuan pat's Evan back as he lets him walk up to his room to put on his team jacket and shirt.

Evan puts on his team jacket and shirt and checked himself out in the mirror.

"Woah,this looks good on me."

Evan shortly went into the training room and was grinding resources.

After a few minutes everyone else came up for practice.

Tao Xuan turns on his presentation.

"We're heading into this season as the reigning champions,we must secure this position and make a foothold as being known as one of the greatest teams in history."

Tao Xuan pointed at Ruo.

"We need you to improve your cooperation with Huang Zekai,yes it may be one of the best in the league but it's not on the same level as Yu and Bonji."

Tao Xuan pointed at Huang.

"We need you to improve your sets of skills you can use as you tend to spam the same attacks which will get predictable."

Tao Xuan pointed at Feng

"You need to improve your timing,your healing is incredibly good but your timing is really off from what we need."

Tao Xuan pointed at Carolina.

"Unfortunately,your age is kind of hindering our performance as a whole,unless you can prove us wrong,you will be released from the team next year."

Carolina in shock at this remark at her,lets her emotion take over her judgement and stormed out of the room.

Tao Xuan ran out of the room chasing Carolina.
