Self Denial!

Evan as he walked down the stairs to the office cafeteria thought to himself.

"Why am I performing so badly? Am I not eSports material...No,I just need a better character,a character like King Avatar."

Evan continued thinking and accidentally walked passed the cafeteria when he looked up he saw the entrance/exit door directly in his face.

Evan thought.

"Wait,was this door always here?"

Evan turned around and realised he walked passed the cafeteria.

Evan entered the cafeteria and ordered himself a hot meal.

10 minutes passed and Evan finished his meal and went back up to the training room.

Evan opened the door and saw a match between Fei Qiu and Huang Zekai.

Fei Qiu made his character leap into the air.

Huang Zekai like a human aimbot tracked Fei Qiu movement down to a fraction of a second.

Fei Qiu used Blossoming Palm to send a rush of wind to stop the bullets dead in their path.

Fei Qiu landed in front of Huang Zekai and pushed his spear forward.

Huang Zekai puts both of his pistols in a X shape and caught the tip of the spear in-between the pistols.

Huang Zekai kicks Fei Qiu.

Fei Qiu punches Huang Zekai gut and retrieves his spear and pushed both of Huang Zekai pistols away.

Fei Qiu used Draconic Spear.

Huang Zekai rolled out of the way to try to get to his pistols.

Fei Qiu noticing the direction Huang Zekai was going used the skill Glory Blaze to push Huang Zekai away.

Fei Qiu using Glory Blaze stats buff ability rushed straight towards Huang Zekai and stabbed Huang Zekai.

Huang Zekai took out his knife and stabbed into Fei Qiu leg.

Fei Qiu lifts his spear which lifted Huang Zekai off the ground and shoved him into the ground.

Fei Qiu proceeded to use Griffin Tooth to eliminate Huang Zekai.

Huang Zekai having no way to dodge watched as his character HP go down to 0%.

Fei Qiu took off his headset and stood up.

Huang Zekai did the same thing.

Both of them reach their hands towards each other and shook hands.

Evan who watched the whole battle from Huang Zekai perspective was a bit shock by how Fei Qiu won.

As from Evan perspective,Huang Zekai was gonna be the next generation Fei Qiu and to prove that he was gonna beat Fei Qiu.

Huang Zekai smiled and said.

"Good game,Battle King."

Fei Qiu chuckled and said.

"Don't call me Battle King,both of us are teammates just call me Qiu."

Huang Zekai chuckled.

"Okay Qiu,good having practiced with you."

Both of them removed their hand from the handshake.

Fei Qiu chuckled again.

"Good having practiced with you too."

Evan rushed towards his computer and logged back on.

Evan yelled.

"Who wants to duel me now!?"

Ruo Mingyu puts on his headset and raised his hand up.

Evan said.

"Well then,let's get to it then."

Evan and Ruo got into a private room.

The match began.

Fei Qiu sat next to Huang Zekai and whispered.

"I think Ruo is gonna win."

Evan rushed towards Ruo as Ruo also pushed the forward.

Huang Zekai whispered back.

"Why would Ruo win,he is at a disadvantage,Evan spear is gonna make contact more often then Ruo fist."

Evan stabbed into Ruo shoulder.

Fei Qiu whispered.

"Simply put it,Evan is way too aggressive for his own good."

Ruo grabs the tip of Evans spear the next time Evan thrusted it towards him.

Huang Zekai whispered back.

"I see your point but Evan is so much more versatile."

Ruo uses Kinetic Impact straight into Evan gut.

Fei Qiu whispered.

"Well then watch and see,Ruo is gonna win."

Evan skids backwards and switched his spear to launcher mode.

Evan uses the skill Radar Beam.

Ruo leaps towards Evan but gets hit by all the beams before he could reach Evan.

Evan switches his weapon back to spear mode and used Griffin Tooth but missed.

Ruo gets back up and right hooked Evan.

Evan pulls the sword out of the spear handle and used Knights Barrage.

Ruo used Extensive Block.

Ruo followed it up with Wild Rush.

A skill which would send a million of sound breaking barrage of fist towards the opponent.

Evan gets hit by all of the punched and his HP would drop down to 22%.

Evan gets back up and was about to use Dragon From The Heavens but stop.

Instead Evan ran towards Ruo was was preparing to evade the Dragon From The Heavens.

Ruo instantly switches his stance and kick Evan but Evan blocked it with his umbrella mode.

Evan closed the umbrella and slammed the top part into Ruo face.

Evan ran towards Ruo but Ruo used Kinetic Force.

Evan gets hit and his HP reaches 5%.

Evan tries Griffin Tooth but Ruo slides and sucker punched Evan.

Evan who was now at 1% began panicking.

Evan switches to a defence stance and began circling Ruo waiting for the next move.

Ruo rushed Evan.

Evan blocked the first hit.

the second hit.

the third hit.

the fourth hit.

the fifth hit.

the sixth hit.

the seventh hit.

But then Ruo used Wild Rush.

Evan had no way of blocking all of that.

Evan tried to leap up into the sky but was too slow.

Evan gets up and threw his headset onto the table and stormed out of the room.

Evan went into his room and began grinding out his character.

After half the day gone past Fei Qiu knocked on Evan door.

Evan opens it.

Fei Qiu said.

"Evan,that was not like you to lash out like that,what's wrong?"

Evan looked down and lied.

"Nothings wrong."

Fei Qiu sat on Evans bed and said.

"You know,when I was younger I was kind of like you."

Evan sat on the bed to listen closer.

"I was pretty arrogant when I was younger,believed I was the best but when I entered the championship I had my ass handed to me by Lu Hao."

Fei Qiu smiled.

"After that round I began working harder then before now knowing there was someone better then me."

Fei Qiu takes out his character card and said.

"I thought the thing I was lacking was a godly character that Lu Hao had but the thing I was missing was heart,the heart for victory."

Evan looked confused.

Fei Qiu sighed.

"Let me rephrase myself,I didn't have the pure drive for a outright dominant victory which was what Lu Hao had,we both had on statistics very good character."

Fei Qiu walked over to Evan computer which was still on and puts his hands on the keyboard.

"Our skills were similar to a point where you could say we were even."

Fei Qiu looked into Evan character build and equipment.

"I see you really are a Unspecified user,even your stats and equipment have no specialty they are all balanced statistically."

Evan gets up to walk towards Fei Qiu.

Fei Qiu looks at Evan and say.

"You need to find a thing to specialise in,as that's the reason to why Unspecified characters are not used in competitive play due to the extremely dominant classes which only specified in one stat."

Fei Qiu walks and puts his hands on the shoulder of Evan.

"Go to sleep,after practice I'll help you tomorrow with your character."

Evan stood there as Fei Qiu walked out closing the door behind him.

Evan looked at his hands and thought.

"That can't be the reason,to my downturn,I don't care if he is the former Battle King,I am my own person I'll do it my way."

Evan began playing all the way until 1:00 A.M. only taking breaks to go to the bathroom or eat.
