Arc 1 Chapter 1.3 ( Sealed School of Demons )

Late at night , the bleak wind passed through the window as it brushed upon Zone's face . It made him shiver as a guy who couldn't sleep properly from fright .

The sounds of knives passing through the metal bars resonated in the corridor as sounds of footsteps could be heard occasionally . The Demons' Night Hunt has begun .

They preys are now shivering while the predators are still leisurely strolling with confidence and creepy smiles .

A high ponytailed woman sucking on a red lollipop strolled on the green field as his long katana rubbed on the ground while she walks forward .

Sounds of metal colliding suddenly rang out as Reina deflected the knife thrown at her .

" Hehe , aren't you disrespectful Kang-Dae-ssi~ " Reina teased as he moved her sword to the side .

Kang-Dae walked out of the shadow as his knuckles shone in the light .

The long haired man , Kang-Dae smiled . " you're also hunting for the points? "

Reina lazily rolled her eyes . " I want to buy a new katana since this friend's already rusty . "

The points you will get after killing someone midnight would be spent to buy your needs or wants . There are a lot of ways to get points or credits but killing is the easiest way for a hunter like Reina who doesn't have a thought on servicing and completing missions from the ruthless teachers .

But killing actually wasn't easy , as there are a lot of dragons and phoenixes lurking in the shadows .

You might possibly meet someone stronger than you . So Hunters have to be vigilant or they might fall prey by a stronger Hunter .

" Where's your shota? I have not seen him visiting you though? "

Reina raised her brows and chuckled.  " Grade 10 students earlier were on their Body Training Session so that little Zone must have been training and doesn't have time to visit this old woman . "

Kang-Dae's lips twitch when he heard Reina addressing herself as an old woman when she's clearly still in her 20's .

" I'll go hunting , good luck "

Rein giggled and hugged Kang-Dae . She stole a kiss from his lips and ran towards the darkness with a mischievous expression still on .

Licking his lips which was eaten by the mischievous woman . Kang-Dae chuckled , he knew that woman has feelings towards him . But even if that woman indeed likes him , he still has to be vigilant . It's no longer a rare occurrence that beauty was used to poison someone in this school .

There have been suicide cases last year due to depression and heartbroken by the break up of their relationship with their lover .

Who wouldn't yearn for love in this kind of bleak place? Everyone wanted to feel how it feels to be protected . Kang-Dae could only silently accept the woman's flirts while being satisfied inwardly he's a coward indeed , but he's only doing this to avoid getting hurt .

Hopefully , he would someday escape from this hell and live a normal life with his future wife and children .

Back at R3-07 , Zone climb down from his bed and went to the mini dispenser to drink water . He feels cold all over his body .

Then his eyes landed on Jiro's sleeping body . He walked over and leaned . Zone gulped before deciding to sleep beside this man . Jiro introduced himself as a strong guy , he is capable of defending himself from assassins so he decided to sleep beside him .

Hopefully no one would open their door to assassinate them .

Jiro slowly opened his eyes , he look at the petite man shivering from the cold air .

Then he heard the guy muttering . " Mama "

Jiro almost burst out of laughter , he didn't expect this little guy to still dream of his mother in the middle of the night .

Jiro closed his eyes again and let the guy to sleep beside him .

An hour past as Jiro opened his eyes sharply . A shadow loomed over the body of two . Jiro immediately pushed his body forward and kicked the shadow .

The shadow caught his feet and hang it to his shoulders before turning back to throw Jiro on the ground . Jiro immediately moved while mid-air to twist his body and coil around the enemy's neck , his leg immediately freed and coil around the waist as he wrapped his arms around the enemies neck and twist his neck .

A bone crack resonated in the silent room followed by the fall of the assassin . Jiro was quick to react and counterattack , and the assassin doesn't have fast reflexes as Jiro leading him to his demise .

Icy cold blue eyes shone in the dark as it locked on the corpse . In the middle of the night , the silhouette of a young man dragging a corpse could be seen . On the wristwatch of the young man , a notification rang out .

[ User has successfully counterattacked the Hunter . ]

Jiro didn't bother looking at his wristwatch as he continued dragging the corpse . A black cloacked man walked towards Jiro's direction and received the corpse before turning back yo the darkness .

Jiro stared lazily at the man before heading back to the dorm room . A young man suddenly pounced on Jiro , Jiro immediately responded by slapping the wrist pf the young man . The young man's grip on his knife loosened as it immediately fell on the ground . Before the student could even pick his knife , a red line had already appeared on the his throat as he instantly collapsed.

Another black cloacked man appeared and dragged the corpse somewhere .

Early in the morning , Zone opened his puffy drowsy eyes before slowly hugging the human sized pillow beside him .

" Aaah Shiela , I love you so much " Zone hoarsely confessed and sniffed Sheila's neck and bite it . He tightened his grip on her and touched her chest .

Zone paused as his brows met in confusion .

He's blurry sight gradually cleared as he locked gazes with a blue eyed person .

Zone and Jiro stared with each other before Zone immediately rolled to the left and fell down on the ground .

* Blag!

" [Beep] [beep]!!!! My butt hurts!"

Zone rubbed his rear and blushed in shame . Jiro chuckled as he slowly sat up . He touched his neck which was bitten by the mischievous person and remembered the hard thing poking his butt earlier . Zone must have been wet dreaming with a young woman called Shiela .

" G-good morning classmate Jiro . " Zone greeted and smiled innocently before running towards the bathroom to relieve his early morning issue .

He indeed had been wet dreaming . Who wouldn't miss the hot night he experienced with his ex lover? Zone was no longer virgin and he already tasted flower , naturally he would miss that delicious experience again . But he didn't expect to forget that he had been sleeping with a man and accidentally ate tofu with a wrong person .

Zone blushed and clutched his [beep] which he poke to the other person as he tried seducing the wrong person earlier .

When he finished taking a bath , he met Jiro at the room he smiled sheepishly and pose a peace sign and turned around to pick his bag and run towards the canteen . He doesn't want to meet Jiro again , he would only remember his embarrassing situation earlier .

Seeing the young man panicking from the embarrassment , Jiro's always lazy and stoic expression cracked as he silently chuckled .

" Kawaī ..." 

Jiro pick up his bag and headed to eat breakfast at the canteen .

On the other side Zone unexpectedly met Reina in the canteen . He was dragged to their table to eat breakfast with her . As usual , the long haired good looking man also sat across them and argued with Sis Nana from time to time , they are like close friends who love teasing each other .

" I heard that there's a dancing competition later at noon? " Kang-Dae started a topic .

Zone lifted his head , dancing competition? A memory flashed within his head and remembered that this so called dancing competition wasn't a simple dancing competition at all .

It's more like dancing through the thorn obstacles . Those who dance well without getting seriously injured will win . While dancing , traps would activate and test someone's reflexes and ability to evade ambush and traps . Thinking of something like that , Zone couldn't help but twitch his face in pain . He felt the muscle soreness all over his body because of the intense training he did yesterday .

" Yeah , there's no formal class this whole day as the every students will practice this morning . College students like us are also tasked to help organize at the gym for the gathering . "

Zone trembled in excitement when he heard that there's no formal class today . Everyone could go spend their time dilly dallying or train their body . Zone will never enter the classroom today , he will meet Jiro if he does .

At noon , all the students in the school gathered at the gym . Wearing black cloak and masked while holding a bottle of soda and a bucket of popcorn . Zone followed after them and sat on one of the seats .

At the wide platform , the settings are already set and the dancers were now warming up their body at backstage . Zone also planned on getting some inspiration here and practice it when the body training sessions comes .

A red haired man took a seat beside Zone while also eating his own popcorn . He had his legs crossed while shaking his leg boredly . Zone didn't look at his seatmate and continued waiting for the opening ceremony .

A few minutes later , a sexy looking woman cat walked towards the stage while lazily holding a wireless microphone . She is wearing a sleeveless black crop top which exposed her belly full of masculine abs and drool inducing mermaid line , in her lower part is a tight pants which hugged her slender legs tightly . Her hair is tied in a braid from head to the tip , she had a long hair that reaches the waist . Her monolid eyes lazily swept over the crowd before chewing her orange flavored bubble gum . A balloon slowly blew out of her pink lips before it pops and sticked to her straight delicate nose .

" How are yah doing my friends? " A husky voice androgynous voice resonated throughout the whole enclosed gym .

The crowd immediately answered . " We're doing fine our princess!!"

" We're not doing fine [beep] this life!! "

" Hahaha , our life is still like a piece of sh*t . "

The girl chuckled and lazily sat on the platform dangling her right leg in the air while folding his left as he leaned over her elbow and rest her chin on her left fist .

" For those who doesn't know me yet , I'll introduce myself to you . "

" I'm Shi Yuanjun , 20 years old from the elite class of first year college . I can be considered a big sister here , well not to the college students . Oh hi there little guy . "

Shi Yuanjun waved at the 10 year old kid sitting at the front . But in response , the little kid throw a dagger towards Shi Yuanjun . Shi Yuanjun laughed and caught the knife between her fingers without batting an eye. 

Zone's eyes narrowed as he stared seriously at Shi Yuanjun's body . This school isn't normal , from kindergarten to college . The students here despite graduating from college , they would remain here and teach . While others birth new demons and lived here all their life . No one managed to escape yet , as if this school was surrounded by a barrier trapping them here. 

Zone was different from the native demons ( not a literal demons) . He was kidnapped by human traffickers and was brought here at the tender age of 11 . He had been living here for almost 5 years and the original Zone managed to survive despite the extreme danger and pressure .

But the original Zone was not exactly strong and confident to the point that he could leisurely hunt every midnight for points . He can only be considered as a lucky student who managed to survive this far through remaining low key and through dirty tricks .

But the original had his own strong point , while the current Zone right now could only pretend to be strong and unperturbed while trying to rapidly grow .

" She's strong . " A youthful voice rang out beside Zone .

Zone subconsciously nodded and put in a popcorn on his mouth . Only then did he realized that his seatmate was talking to him . He hurriedly turn his head to the side and saw a head of red hair .

The red haired youth looked a bit familiar to him . Zone subconsciously narrowed his eyes before lifting the corner of his lips ." Didn't expect to see a familiar face gere . "

The red haired youth smiled weirdly and nodded.  " Nice to meet you ... You seem to have forgotten my name . "

I never heard of your name man . But Zone still smiled and nodded . " I'm bad at names , pardon me. "

" I'm Shade Wright "

Zone nodded " Zone "

The two didn't have time to continue their conversation when the opening ceremony was initiated .
