Arc Chapter 3.5 ( Boundary Between Virtual and Reality )

When Jiro arrived at the mansion he didn't dare open the microphone anymore and could only rub the screen to inform the guy that he is still watching him .

Zone hung his head down and turned silent the whole time . Within his mind , fragments of memories started flashing and with every fragments of memories that he saw ,Zone would clench his fist tighter and could only silently restrain himself from being emotional .

He doesn't know if it was the side effect of losing his memory but he felt like these memory were so precious and should be treasured dearly .

The memory he saw was a man with similar features to him . They have similar crimson iris and ' fox bloodline ', At first , Zone thought the man was his ancestor but when his heart started beating for the golden eyed man within the memory . He knew he was actually the Artic Fox in the memory .

Zone couldn't understand how he became a blue furred fox when he clearly have silver fur but he doesn't want to dwell on it for now . What's important is that the golden eyed man in the memory possessed similar voice with his master . 

A hopeful thought sprouted within his mind .

Maybe he could go out with master's help .

Zone closed his eyes and layed on the bed and started humming a song . A gentle , soft and whispery serene voice started resonating through out the whole silent room and the noise of the raindrops outside seems to have suddenly quietened down . As if the world decided to put more focus on the man's serene voice .

Because of his body structure , his voice still held a youthful trace on it , yet when Zone deliberately made it whispery  ... His music seemed to suddenly have a hint of melancholy .

Zone started voicing words in a serene and slow pace .

" Though .... I call ... Out to reach you . "

" Failing time and again . "

"...."Silence evaded the whole room for a second bringing the noise of the rain drops back filling the whole room .

" My heart is .... All i have ... To give you "

Zone smiled weakly . " Only one .... "

Jiro weakly said . " I love your voice.  " Yeah ... I love 'his' voice .

Zone thought , I love your voice too .

Zone smiled . " Good night , Master.  "

" Good night . " 

Zone stared at the ceiling as silence enveloped the whole room . He could feel that his master was no longer watching him .

Zone frowned and covered his eyes with his forearms and sighed .

The silence was unbearable to him . The feeling of loneliness enveloped his heart again , like a knife burried within his heart that couldn't be removed .

Jiro closed the phone and layed on the bed . The stars on the sky seemed to have hidden as dark clouds loomed over the whole city . The silvery moonlight was unable to reach this place trapped within the ominous clouds that was about to pour out heavy rain .

The thunderclap made Jiro's heart turned heavier . He turned to the side and clutched his temple in frustration .

It's been 9 years already ... And Jiro still could not move on from Zone .

He himself couldn't understand why he had fallen inlove so deep that he couldn't even help himself climb up from the pit called Love .

Why did Zone made him so crazy in love ?

In all the time they spent together , all Zone did was to make him feel hurt .

Fall in love .

Fall into depression .

Zone was so good at manipulating his mind that he couldn't understand why is he still in love with him despite being unrequited .

Why did Zone gave up on him?

Why can't Zone fall for him again?

Why do they have to be separated again and again repeatedly and goes back from the very start?

Jiro keeps on questioning himself until he fall asleep in mental exhaustion . 

Early in the morning , the sun has finally made its appearance and illuminated the whole world with its brilliance . The Zhang Mansion owned by Jiro suddenly turned lively as a rapid couple of footsteps resonated together with a lively voice of a youth who started running all over the mansion .

The master bedroom was suddenly pushed open by a medium sized hand of a teenager and a fluffy head peaked inside .

" Brother~ Good Morning! "

Li Xiaojian smiled brightly and trotted towards the direction of the king sized bedroom where a half naked man could be seen slumbering while hugging a human sized pillow with a printed image of a silver haired man with a pair of crimson eyes .

The boy saw that his brother still did not wake up . He leaned forward and saw the eye bags under his brother's eyes and suddenly felt pity . It seems that his brother was really exhausted from work.  Li Xiaojian decided to not disturb his brother anymore and wrote a letter on a paper to remind him of the homeroom meeting at 3 pm .

Zone on the other side still live a monotonous life . He first washed himself , eat an instant food and started reading a book . Although he restored some fragments of memories , it was still insufficient to quench his thirst so he had to read more and learn a lot of common sense .

Several hours passed as Zone put down the book and started cleaning his room . Zone walked to the window and tried opening it in hope that it would someday open for him .

Zone was about to let go when a transparent rectangular blue light flashed in front of him .

[ As your favorability towards your master exceeded 99 , you are finally granted the authority to go out of the room .]

The blue interface was about to fade when it suddenly glitched .

[ For some unknown reasons , You are granted the ability to pass through the boundary between Reality and Fantasy . ]

[ However , in order to cover your existence from the eyes of the Watcher . It is adviced not to use your power in the world of reality . ]

Zone dropped the towel in his hands in shock . Suddenly , a blue portal appeared through thin air in front of him .

" ... " Zone was speechless .

" Where does this portal leads to? "

Uno who was editing the pops up paused then hesitated for a moment .

[ For your protection , A system will be sent to guide you in the reality . In case you'll meet any kinds of accident . ]

Zone nodded but was still disappointed that the Blue light thing did not told him the location the portal leads to . Zone raised his hand and the blue portal immediately disappeared like it was never there .

Zone them turned around and opened the window . When the window was finally pushed open.  The green environment came unto his sight as birds flies by . The sun's canopy illuminated throughout the whole place beautifully . Zone was fascinated and wanted to capture this sun to himself , but there's no way he could control a celestial body .

Zone sniffed the fresh and suddenly felt his heavy chest turning light .

Vitamin D is essential to human body , it can affect your emotional state as well as produces dopamine and serotonin that help regulate many bodily functions .

Zone on the other hand could feel that he is absorbing mana more smoothly than usual . Although he prefered cold winter , the sun was still essential to a living being like him .

Zone looked around the neighborhood and saw several small cubs entering a yellow bus . They had a uniform on and looked like elementary students . Zone watched them from the second floor of the house and slowly turned his body towards the room's direction .

He twisted the knob and the door and it immediately opened . Zone sighed in relief and walked out . He roamed around the house repeated and opened every room .

Guest Room , Bathroom , Living Room , Kitchen , the courtyard and everything .

Although it was a typical two story house , Zone felt it was homely . When Zone came back to the room . The mini kitchen disappeared as everything within the room was readjusted and it looked more spacious than before .

Zone sat down on the bed and didn't know what to do . He doesn't know how to react now that he's no longer limited in the master bedroom .

Zone summoned the blue portal in boredom e and stared at the fascinating aight of space distorting within the portal . It glowed in Mysterious azure light and Zone was tempted to put his hand on the middle of the whirlpool of sky blue light within the oblong azure light portal .

And so Zone did what his mind wanted to do .

Zone suddenly felt his body turning weightless and could feel a suction force pulling him unto the unknown place. 

Uno immediately stood up and teleported to his mansion . A blue portal suddenly appeared through thin air and spewed out a young man with sky blue hair and red eyes . Uno catches the young man and sighed in relief when this master did not get hurt . 

Zone stabilized himself after the blonde stranger put him down .

" You're the guide? "

Uno nodded and smiled . " I'm Uno "

" Zone "

Uno waved his hand towards the door and exited . Zone followed after him and learned that the place he's currently at is a modern styled mansion with a floor to ceiling window glass .

" Master , you are currently in the World of Reality which is the opposite of your former world . Currently , the player who took the role as your master was unable to check the game for now so it is safe . But i advice to not cross through the boundary too often or the watcher would surely notice. "

Zone nodded and stared at the blonde elf in front of him . Somehow , this guy's presence doesn't feel unfamiliar .

Uno paused and looked back . He saw his master staring at him intensely . Uno couldn't help smiling warmly thinking that his master could still feel that they aren't strangers .

" I set up your identity as my friend from another country who just recently came to visit me for a reunion . I have already hacked the National Statistics Authority and put your fake birth certificate and information on it . "

" As for other things in this world that could prove your identity . I have already done everything . "

Zone recieved the envelope where all his fake documents were kept . Zone didn't say anything and just followed Uno to the room .

Uno gave Zone a change of clothes and even cut his long hair unto a wolftail mullet hairstyle .

Zone looked at his face in front of the mirror and suddenly smirked in narcississm . He looked wild with his current hairstyle and he is very satisfied with it . Uno could feel his master's satisfaction and secretly relaxed his tensed muscles .

Clad in a black shirt and pants , Zone subconsciously lifted his chin and posed like a model . Although he's shorter than Uno , he exuded a powerful aura that couldn't be hidden .

Hours passed by and the clock finally hits 3 pm . Jiro drove his car towards Li Xiaojian's school . After he parked the car he immediately exited and locked the door before putting his hands on his pocket and walked towards a certain building which Xiaojian's room was located .

Several small kids guided their parents to their room . They looked merry and excitement could be seen upon their countenance . Some other children wore a nervous look afraid that they would be scolded for their bad grades .

Li Xiaojian however is excited when he saw his brother walking leisurely towards their building . Li Xiaojian behold him from the third floor and excitedly pointed his finger at that handsome figure and boasted to his friends how kind his brother was and how capable he was to raise a company to the peak .

A blonde little girl tiptoed and looked at the black haired , tall and slender man on the ground floor and her eyes shined . She didn't expect that Li Xiaojian was not actually lying to her that his brother was indeed handsome to the point of unbelievable .

Uncle Yu was also handsome and Fu Xiang admired him for that . She smiled and walked away to call his uncle .

Uno who was teaching Zone about some common senses paused as he felt his phone vibrating from his pocket . Uno immediately mobilized his power and connected the phone to his brain .

Uno's eyes flashed blue for a while then a cute little resounded in his brain .

" Yes honey? "

Fu Xiang clenched her hands in nervousness . " Uncle , where are you now? The meeting is about to start in a few minutes . "

Uno paused and suddenly remembered that it was already 3 pm , he didn't realized it .

" Oh! I got it honey , don't worry . We're on the way . "

" We're? Who's going with you? " Fu Xiang questioned .

Uno chuckled " I'm going to introduce you to my old friend . "

Fu Xiang's eyes widened in disbelief . She didn't expect that her Uncle still has friends that she doesn't know . Fu Xiang was little bit suspicious for a while before nodding , not dwelling on it too much .

After the call was ended , Uno turned to look at the adult version of Zone . Uno taught him earlier how to chamge his appearance . Because of his master's nature , he naturally has long life span and could even escape the curse of aging . Because of that , Zone's growth had slowed down .

Now that his master is back to his adult form . Uno nodded in satisfaction , after all , Fu Xiang would really question him why he had such a young friend .
