Chapter 71

The night passed peacefully , Zone woke up with eyes groggy and groaned lazily.  The moment his vision cleared up , he met a pair of blue eyes that seems to have been tortured by insomnia.  There's dark circles below Jiro's eyes and their position remained the same as he could remember when he pretended sleepwalking. 

Zone's peach blossom eyes widened in shock and surprise as he hurriedly sat up . A trace of embarrassment and panick flashed through his scarlet eyes as if he doesn't know how to react in this kind of situation .

" G-good morning.  " Zone bowed his head down shamefully and fiddled his hands awkwardly. 

Jiro touched his numb shoulder and nodded . " Good morning . "

Zone looked up distressed and asked hesitantly . " D-did I sleep walked to your side last night? "

Jiro raised the corner of his lips and remained silent.  Zone bit his lower lip and bowed down.  " I'm sorry Jiro , it's just that I always sleep walked whenever I'm tired and stressed . Have I made you feel awkward ? "

Jiro shook his head and sighed . " No , it's fine.  I don't mind what you did at all . We can just forget about it ."

" Oh " Zone nodded then stopped fiddling with his forefingers and climb down .

" Class is about to start , I'll quickly wash my self up.  "

Jiro also climbed down from the bed and arranged his messy bed before nodding . " Go ahead . "

Zone pursed his lips and secretly felt angry.  This Jiro!!! Why are you so awkward! Zone turned his body and entered the bathroom to wash up .

' he didn't even secretly touch me last night , I'm so disappointed in him.  '

He knows that Jiro has not developed any sort of feelings towards him yet at this time , but Zone couldn't help feeling angry about it. 

After the two finished their breakfast , they tacitly exited the dorm room and headed towards the classroom together.  While they were about to enter their building.  Jiro and Zone noticed a small commotion nearby .

There's a crowd of students shouting and screaming as if they we're cheering for something.  Zone got curious and paused his footsteps . Jiro also paused his movements and turned to look at the ground.  Zone sniffed at the air and smelled the ironic smell of blood . Even though he lost his tail , he was already accostumed to his fox traits .

Jiro and Zone looked at each silently then simultaneously walked towards the crowd.  When they get near to the encircled place , they witness two groups of students fighting violently as if they were going to kill each other in broad daylight. 

" What's going on? " Asked Zone to the person beside him .

The person beside him is a young man like him , his hair is dyed with color red and his lower lip was pierced by an accessory.  He looked like a gangster yet Zone did not feel a single emotion of fear towards him.

The young man was surprised when someone suddenly talked to him . In this school , he rarely interacted with his schoolmates out of vigilance , they usually only tend to interact with close friends . The young man paused his cheering actions and turned to look at the good looking young man . He coughed awkwardly and stuttered as he talks .

" Ah , they are two group of gangs fighting for the rank . "

" Rank? "

" Oh yeah , have you not checked your wrist watch carefully? There's a leaderboard logo on the top right screen . You can register a gang group there and recieve your crest at the Leaderboard House beside the Training Hall . "

" But you have to pay a certain amount of points first before establishing a group ."

Zone arc up his brows . " What's the point of this group ranking? I see no benefits in doing so . "

The young man laughed at Zone's naiveness . " Haven't you heard ? The top three gangs and top three powerful individuals will be given the opportunity to join the Black Cloaked Men at the end of the year . "

So basically , becoming a Black Cloaked man means that you're powerful than any other students and no one would dare to fight you wrecklessly.  It is also a kind of title that fends off troubles . That is why the three ranking place were coveted by these students . Zone could still remember these details but it was already vague that he almost couldn't remember this.

" Oh , I remember now . Thanks for reminding.  "

" No problem.  "

Zone turned to look at the two group of gangs fighting each other . Each of them held different kinds of weapons . They have talents but in front of Zone's eyes , they were just mediocre .

" Let's go ." Zone turned his back and pulled Jiro's arm with him .

Jiro silently followed Zone towards the room then landed his eyes on his wrist that was being held by the young man's caloused hands .

Jiro knitted his brows in confusion.  Jiro is not used to Zone's friendly treatment of him.  As a former general in ancient times , no one has ever dared to hug him during night or hold his hand without cowering.  This young man knows no fear . As expected , tiger cubs don't fear the adult .

" Do you usually sleep walked before?" Jiro asked out of curiosity .

Zone turned his head to him with confused eyes then realized what he was talking about . " Yeah , sometimes , but I cannot remember what I did evey time I sleep walked . "

Jiro became silent again as they arrived at the second floor . They then entered their room and went to their respective chairs . They listened to the class and participated in some activities but the atmosphere in the class remained the same as before.  It was gloomy and quiet with only the sound of the teacher on the podium discussing the lesson. The room sounds like a ghost room where the students were unresponsive ghosts . If not because of Zone's bold questions to the teacher , the students wouldn't have paid any attention to the teacher .

After writing several formulas on the blackboard . Zone went back to his chair under the eyes full of admiration of his classmates .

When Zone sat on his chair , he began dozing off . He thought to himself that although he had not met the suspect related to the predecessor of their family who founded this school.  He indeed successfully escaped out of this school his last life with their own ability .

However , this time , he doesn't plan on escaping .

He's planning on counterattacking . However , he is still helpless about the killings happening during mid-night . If only he could split his own self to a thousand of times to protect and prevent every students from harming each other , he would have done it long ago .

Zone looked down on his wristwatch and suddenly thought of establishing a group .

If he recruited a big number of students in his group and train them until they could contend to the black cloaked men's combat prowess . They might be able to fight them head on and destroy the school completely. 

He could also consider capturing a teacher and force them to ally himself .

Zone turned his head at front and suddenly met a pair of obsidian eyes at front.  Zone stared at him fearlessly and suddenly noticed his teacher smirking at him . Zone clicked his tongue in regret . This teacher looked so good that his face is even comparable that of his husband .

Ian removed his gaze to him and continued teaching the students . However , Zone suddenly frowned as he felt like this teacher somehow looked familiar to him. 

Zone rubbed his throbbing head and tried his best to remember his previous life in this school. 

Where have I met him before?

" What's wrong with you? Mr. Feinars? " The deep , magnetic and husky voice of the teacher suddenly rang out in the quiet room. 

Ian walked towards him and suddenly held his shoulder . Zone looked up and suddenly felt that the outline of his teacher's body looks familiar to him , unfortunately , he couldn't recall it properly. 

" Nothing , Sir Ian ... It was just lack of sleep.  " Zone lied and sighed. 

Ian silently watched his student frowning from stress and smiled . " You can take a rest at the infirmary , if you want . "

Zone looked up back to him and asked.  " Is it fine for you Sir? I can still manage to listen to your lesson.  "

" Nah , it's fine.  You can go there already.  "

Zone nodded then slowly stood up to step out of the room . When he passed by the window , he turned to look back and stared at his husband's behaved appearance. 

He time traveled to this timeline , because he has a very important mission . He couldn't neglect it like how he did before where he wasted a fuckin 5 century because of his heart break for Jiro.  This time , he would never let Jiro leave him.  The bind he did to him , he would never let him go again .

Right now , Doze is still asleep because of the lack of energy . Doze , when binded to Jiro , is like a parasite to the world consciousness . If they successfully completed this world , they would recieve the blessing of the whole world for rescuing thousands of victims in the academy.  Doze would capture the blessing and use it as their fuel to travel through world with better journey .

It will help Jiro to tread more carefully and avoid Diego's detection . When the time comes where Lance and those winged subordinates dispatched by Lucifer attack him.  He and Jiro will never separate .

When he was walking towards the direction of the infirmary . Zone passed by the building of Reina and Kang-Dae's room . He stared at the building and stared at a certain room where he could hear Reina's voice . His ears twitched and suddenly hurt .

Zone immediately retracted his innate enhanced physical ability and clicked his tongue . It will only damage his vessel if he tried to forcefully use his innate enhanced physique when his power has not yet recovered to a certain degree .

The throbbing he was feeling right now is probably the cause of the curse.  He has been using his skill for a couple of times and this world is supposed to be strict when it comes to physics . Magic and mana is so scarce in here and people were deprived of their ability to cultivate.  Supernatural things is strictly forbidden in here causing the curse to infiltrate his soul. 

Zone bet that if he used his ability again this time , the world consciousness might track and eliminate him. 

Reina and Kang-Dae sitting near the window of their classroom suddenly saw a familiar figure walking in the hallway of the building parallel to them. 

Reina mischevously smiled then suddenly threw a thin needle towards the young man . However , Zone faintly moves his body centimeter away from the needle and succesfully avoided it . Reina launched another attack but she always failed on hitting the young man as if Zone has an eye on every part of his body. 

Reina eventually gave up and turned her head at the front . She flinched when she saw her teacher coldly looking at her . The teacher's eyes are saying that she knows what she had just done .

Reina looked down on the ground in shame and pursed his lips . Kang-Dae sitting at front secretly laughed . Reina glared at Kang-Dae and showed him her Middle finger.

When Zone entered the infirmary . Zone met a familiar figure.  It was the doctor that tended to his wounds when he was brought to the infirmary injured .

Zone smiled at the doctor . " Teacher , My head is aching right now . Can I get an over the counter medicine and take a rest here? "

The long haired man sitting behind the desk looked up to the young man in front of him and removed his glasses before humming . He stood up and he was surprisingly a head taller than the young man. 

The doctor turned his back to get a medicine in a cabinet and handed Zone a tablet before walking towards a dispenser and gave Zone a glass of water. 

" Don't forget to regularly drink 8 glasses of water everyday . Dehydration could also cause headache and dizziness if you may know . "

Zone smiled and obediently drank his medicine.  " Doctor is so caring.  "

The doctor just tched.  " It's my duty , now go choose a bed in there and sleep . "

Zone nodded . " Ok . "

As expected , the doctor is still as gentle as he remembered .

When the sky was about to darken , Zone headed straight to the training hall and started instructing his classmates . Ever since he started leading them , Zone became a known and followed figure in the classroom .

Whenever Zone hit a classmate for his mistake in his stance , the student wouldn't say anything to retort him.  Although it was kind of a torture for them when Zone trained them . They knew that the more hardship they meet , the more fruitful the result is .

Then a few days passed of getting along with each other . When the whole class gathered in the training hall . Zone suddenly announced something unexpected .

" I will be creating a gang , who wants to join me? "
