RONNIE'S MOVING CASTLE

"I heard you killed all the bandits who came to the market", Vickymia asked me.

"Yes, pretty sis, if someone messes with you don't be shy to call me", I told Minna's sister who wasn't exactly pleased with my comment.

"I'm beginning to find you a really violent kid, just stay away from our Minna, would you?" Vickymia told me.

"You look lovely when you are angry pretty sis", I told Vickymia with a wink.

"Oh, you are here, let's go", Minna said to me as she saw me.

"Bye sis", I told Vickymia.

Before Vickymia could stop her sister we already left her infirmary and met up with our friends.

"I need to make a trip to Gaesov town again before spring comes", I told my friends.

"I want to go too", Bommurs and Raven said together.

"Me too, can I, I want to check out the Magic School in Gaesov town", Minna asked me too.

Vickymia wanted to enroll Minna in a Magic School in Gaesov town, and she wanted to check it out first because it was a big decision for her, to leave her hometown for a boarding school.

"Are your parents and sister letting you guys come with me?" I asked them.

"Of course, not", was their unanimous answer.

"Ok I'll find a carriage and we can all go together", I told my friends.

"How about you Ronnie, the guy who doesn't know how to talk? Is he coming?" Bommurs asked me.

"The trip won't be possible without him", I replied to him.

"Do you want to travel to the next town?" I asked Ronnie Grump whose eyes lit up when he heard that.

"Would it be dangerous?" Ronnie asked me.

"It could be, there might be creatures like the Fang Hyena that chased us in the forest waiting for us or bandits like the one you killed in town", I told him.

"I want to go but I need to be near my shuttle to recharge my phasers, I'm rather vulnerable without my phasers", Ronnie told me.

"Why don't we bring your shuttle with us?" I asked Ronnie.

"How is that possible, the propulsion doesn't work after it crashed?", Ronnie asked me.

"Well, we build a carriage to carry it with horses, even a shoe house can be carried around", I told Ronnie.

"Like Howl's Moving Castle", he said to me.

"Well, you do know your anime", I told him.

"My laptop still works, and old media could be replayed and projected to screen. It's my only entertainment in this boring world", Ronnie said to me.

"It won't be boring if we go on a trip", I told him.

"I'll still prefer doing research but there is nothing to do here. I'll go and besides, I can start building Howl's Moving Castle", he said to me.

"That is a good idea", I told him.

Unsurprisingly, the space shuttle that we stumbled upon in the forest of Slowan belonged to Ronnie. 

It appeared that he had been in suspended animation at that time, concealed within inaccessible compartments within the shuttle, which explained why we hadn't encountered him earlier, or he went out exploring the world when we were in the shuttle.

Ronnie was meticulous and an engineer. There were many advanced tools available to him on his shuttle and he put them to good use.

He redesigned his shuttle to be caravan ready and removed all non-essential components in his space shuttle, retaining only a compact deck housing the fission reactor. 

The end result was a metal carriage of alien design conveniently mounted on a wheeled carriage, powered by the hinds of four beasts of burden.

With the carriage securely fitted, our journey was set to begin.

Although the shuttle carriage wasn't small it was a little packed for all of us sitting inside, so we took turns driving the carriage. 

I on the other hand preferred to run. After I advanced to Awakening Level 4 of Templar magic, my running speed was equivalent to a running horse when supported by the speed-boosting kneecaps that I wore.

"Minna why don't we run ahead of the carriage and scout the way since we both have the kneecaps", I invited Minna to join me for a scouting and run.

"Yeah, why not", Minna replied to me.

"Yes, you love birds run away from us and find a room", Bommurs said to us and sulked before we ran.

"On second thoughts, Bommurs you go with Minna. I have enough running for the day", I told Bommurs in reply.

"Gladly," Bommurs replied to me and quickly ran off to chase Minna.

Bommurs had a crush on Minna, but he would tell no one about it, even to me or Raven but we all know about it.

"You do know that Bommurs likes Minna right?" Raven asked me when Bommurs wasn't around us anymore.

"Even the blind would see that", I replied to him.

"But Minna seems to like you more", was his reply to me.

"Somehow, I do have a feeling Minna is not the one for me and these are not things that we should think about at our age", I told him.

"Romeo and Juliet were only around our age when they were in love", Raven told me.

"Damnit, you watch too much show on Ronnie's projectors and wait a minute,.. how do you even understand them, it's not in our language?" I asked him.

"Don't you know it yet, while you were driving the caravan, Ronnie got the translator running. His shows now speak our language", Raven told me.

"Damn that Ronnie is efficient", I told him.

The journey wasn't dangerous and even as we passed through forests and hills there weren't many hostile beasts to stop us even though this world is occupied by dangerous creatures in the wild.

If there were any dangerous predators that came our way with bad intent, Ronnie's phasers would dispatch with them easily.

It was a fun journey as we picnicked, played games and watched Ronnie's compilation of Earth's movies all the way toward Gaesov town. Ronnie although initially being the alien among us was being quickly integrated into our group and became almost one of us.

"Do you guys want to visit the bandit camp that I cleared, it's somewhere near here", I asked my friends as we reached close to the camp that I cleared in my last trip.
