THE STRANGE METAL SHIP
We took a trip deeper into Slowan forest, careful not to alarm any dangerous creatures that we might discover. This was just a scouting trip and not meant to catch anything, so we moved quickly.
The trip was unexpectedly peaceful because we found no dangerous creatures at all as we went deeper into the forest and soon, we were in the deep forest of Slowan.
It became apparent to us that the peace wasn't natural because someone was killing magical creatures here and leaving the carcasses everywhere.
"What the hell is happening to the forest?" I asked mt friends about the indiscriminate killing in the vicinity.
"Who would kill these creatures and leave their carcasses here, it's worth a lot of money", Raven said to us.
"It could be due to poisonous plants in the vicinity or something more sinister", I told them my speculation.
"These creatures must have eaten some bad fruits", Raven told us his take.
"Shyte, we can't carry these beasts back, it's too far away. They are worth a fortune", Bommurs told us.
"It is really a waste to see so many valuable carcasses go to waste here in the forest", Raven added.
"Are there valuable parts that we can carve out to take back? Something we can carry," I asked Raven.
"We can take their ivories, they are worth a lot", Raven told us.
"What? we are rich then", Bommurs exclaimed to us.
"Yes, these are at least Level 4 magical creatures lying dead before us. They are more valuable and closer to impossible for us to hunt", I said to my friends.
So, we carved out the ivories horns from the creatures to bring them back. There were other carcasses littered here and there, so we went deeper into the forest to look for more valuable carcass parts and the loot was surprisingly immense.
"Damn run", Raven shouted suddenly when a large Serpent was chasing him from behind him.
"Damnit, a Tanith Serpent", I told my friends as we quickly ran.
Living near a magical forest was rather dangerous and meeting powerful magical beasts wasn't uncommon, so every child in the village would remember all the creatures that lived in this forest.
The Serpent that chased us was a Tanith, one of the most dangerous in Slowan forest.
------
In the forest of Slowan, there lived a creature of unimaginable power and majesty, The Serpent Tanith. Stretching over three dozen feet in length and covered in glistening scales, this serpentine entity strikes awe and fear into the hearts of all the inhabitants of Slowan village.
The Serpent Tanith possesses a sinuous, muscular body, adorned with iridescent scales that shimmer and change colors as it slithers through the land or water. Its scales range from deep emerald green to hues of amethyst and sapphire, creating a mesmerizing display of natural beauty.
The creature's eyes burn with an intense, piercing gaze, reflecting an ancient wisdom and an unfathomable intelligence.
This serpentine marvel possesses immense strength and agility, capable of crushing rocks and trees effortlessly in its powerful coils. Its fangs are razor-sharp, dripping with venom that can incapacitate even the hardiest of beings, rendering them helpless before their might.
The hunters of Slowan village told stories about this legendary creature in the depths of Slowan Forest and they spoke of its ability to regenerate its wounds, making it seemingly impervious to harm. The serpent wasn't on the scale of the hunters because hunters in Slowan village were not supposed to hunt them but to run from them when it appeared.
------
We ran as quickly as we could, but we were after all just young teenagers, so there was a limit to our speed.
"Why the Hell did you arouse a Tanith?" I scolded Raven.
"I thought it was another dead carcass when I approached it. Who the hell knows it was lying in sleep", Raven told us.
"Quickly it's right behind us", Bommurs said to us.
"Bang"
"What the heck is this stone?", Raven asked us as he rammed onto a large metallic boulder or rock.
Raven stumbled onto something in the forest as we ran from the Serpent Tanith and somehow, I knew what this was, from the memories of my previous life.
"It's a shuttle, not a stone", I told the guys as I quickly lifted the shuttle's hatch before we jumped inside just at the moment the Tanith caught up to us.
"Bang Bang Bang"
The Tanith rammed on the shuttle but failed to break inside the almost unbreakable metal shelter. After struggling for an hour without success the Serpent gave up and left.
"What the Hell is this thing? How do you even know how to open it?" Bommurs asked me.
"I just know", I replied to him.
"You are so full of secrets and craps", Bommurs said to me.
"Why are there people and strange tentacled statues here", Raven asked us suddenly about something inside the shuttle.
We weren't alone inside the shuttle because it was occupied by some strange stones of humans and creatures.
"What are these stones?" I asked myself when suddenly the memory came to me.
"This must be one of the alien infected shuttles that was released into this world during the Holokauston that were petrified by Rinna's magic", I said out loud to the surprise and curiosity of my friends.
The Holokauston was what the local villagers called the event when a huge comet crashed into this world a hundred and fifty years ago that caused huge tsunamis and tidal waves that wiped out many villages, towns, and cities in Nymera.
But what the villagers didn't know was that my previous life came to this world from those comets, which my recovered memories slowly revealed to me.
Rinna was one of the wives of my previous life and she probably vanished together with him when they ended up in this world before he was reborn into me.
"What the hell are you talking about and who is Rinna?" Bommurs asked me.
"Did he say Minna?" Raven asked him.
"Nope, he said Rinna for sure, not Minna", Bommurs replied to him.
"I thought your girlfriend was Minna not Rinna", Raven said to me.
"Minna is not my girlfriend and why are we even talking about this girl crap now when we are about to be killed by the serpent", I replied to him.
"Minna will be so sad when she hears about her love rival", Bommurs added.
"Back to these stone tentacles, what are they?" Raven asked me after ignoring Bommurs.
"Would you believe that my previous life's wife turned them to stone? With her powerful magic," I asked my friends.
"Gross, why do you want a wife?" Bommurs asked me in disgust.
In my previous life, our world, Ouamua, was inside the magical comet that fell into this world. During the moment the comet crashed, it spilled out shuttles and spacecraft that were trapped inside Ouamua.
Tagging along those shuttles were dangerous tentacle webbed aliens that were violent and dangerous. Rinna, my wife from my previous life had unique Soul magic that petrified those aliens and what we saw here were remains of alien monsters caused by her magic.
