THE FAMILY OF SLAVERS

THE FAMILY OF SLAVERS

"Over there, they are imprisoned there", Daze said to me as she pointed at a building behind the main building that served as a dungeon or prison.

"Soul Crescent Blade"

Suddenly my blades were summoned and released on the guards who stood at the Dungeon door, killing them all in an instant.

"Magical Missiles"

My magic bullets blasted the locks in the Dungeon, and we quickly moved down the stairs to rescue the Luna.

"But there are many guards down there, we won't be able to fight off all of them at once?" Luna reminded me softly.

There were many guards there who guarded over the slaves, and it wasn't worth my effort to fight with all of them even if I could. Some of them weren't as worthless as Brutus and his gang and could become messy down there if I went down carelessly.

"Don't worry, they'll probably not know we're going down", I replied to Daze.

"Can you turn us invisible?" she asked me.

"That is a skill that I don't have in this life but what I have is enough to deal with those scums", I told Daze.

I had something that could deal with the guards in the dungeon, so I brought out my ring.

"Ring of Slumber"

I summoned a magical gas cloud into the Dungeon which soon covered the confined space. The air was soon filled with magical air and the guards inside inhaled them and before long, all the guards were deeply asleep.

"Did you make the guards sleep?" Daze asked me.

The ring was my master Greenduff's gift to me which was meant to help me hunt wild creatures. But the ring worked well here to turn the guards to sleep.

After defeating the guards, we opened all the locks in the dungeon to release the prisoners. Luna ran around the cells to look for her leader before finally locating her, tied to a long interrogation pole.

"Who are you who saved us?" Red Luna asked me when I came to release her and her Lunas.

"I'm the one who banished you and your girls one hundred and fifty years ago", I told her.

"It's you, I don't recognize you", Red Luna said to me.

"This is my other appearance", I replied to her.

"It is true, I saw him kill Brutus. Even if he's not who he claimed he is, he is here to help us", Daze said to the Red Luna, vouching for me.

"We were taken by the slavers back here, I kept my promise to leave this land", Red Luna explained to me.

"I know let's leave here first", I told the Red Luna as we released the other she-wolves in the dungeon and together we came out of the Stonecrest Dungeon.

----

"Who dares to raid our Dungeon", someone told us suddenly when we came out from the dungeon.

It seemed my dungeon break didn't go unnoticed by the guards of the Stonecrest family. There was an army gathered at the entrance to the dungeon who waited for us to emerge from the raid.

"It's their patriarch, Franken Stonecrest", Daze told me.

More than a hundred Magi and seasoned fighters joined Franken to capture us.

"Do you think we didn't know you came to free the slaves? We are just waiting for you up here to finish you. None of you will escape today", Franken shouted to us.

"Raaaawwwwwrrr"

The Lunas suddenly turned into she-wolves that charged into the Stonecrest people. After I released them from their leashes, they were no longer afraid of the slavers.

"Impossible, how did your leashes get removed?" Franken shouted out and asked.

Franken probably thought that his leashes on the Red Lunas were impossible to break. But those leashes were easily broken by my soul weapons.

As the Lunas fought with the slavers, my eyes were locked with their leader Franken.

"How dare a boy come to raid my family Dungeon", Franken scolded me after realizing the one who raided his family's dungeon was a young man.

Franken was probably a peak-level Earth tier Magus, and his spells were powerful and deadly.

The Magi of Pallantium follows a system of progression not unlike the planetary tiers of the Templars, although they do not call them in the same name as in the Ten-Kingdoms.

However, there was a difference between the magical tiers of the Pallantium and the Templars of the Ten-Kingdom. The Pallantium Magi were powerful magic casters but were themselves physically ordinary.

Templars on the other hand do not cast magic as well as the Pallantium Magi, but their physicals and attributes were enhanced with templar magic.

"Fireballs"

Franken cast a storm of Fireballs toward me, but I avoided them effortlessly to the shock of Franken.

"How can you move so quickly?" Franken shouted at me.

I leaped high into the air and over the fireballs and before long, I swooped down on Franken with my soul blade released.

"Soul Crescent blade"

My crescent blade spun into Franken's neck to grind it with its sharp blade that never dulls. Although Franken was protected by a magical force field, like most Magi in Pallantium, my grinding blade continued to spin and deplete the force field until they were exhausted.

"No, how can a boy…", Franken said his last word when his head was dislodged from his body.

"You should have saved your last words for something meaningful to you", I told Franken Stonecrest.

"Magical Spear"

Suddenly an assassin under the employ of the Stonecrest pierced his magical spear into me. The magical spear breached into my bald eagle armor and into my body.

Pallantium magic was powerful when it hit, and I was pierced by a powerful and deadly magically formed spear. Luckily, the spear didn't hit a critical organ of mine although it wasn't likely for me to survive more hits like these.

There were more guards in the Stonecrest family who were capable of firing magical spears, and they were all onto me after I killed their patriarch.
