Putie wasn't competing in this competition based on the strength of her artifact. All her artifact does was open a magic portal to a place that contained giant ants.

She released the ants toward me in a rampaging horde.

My ring cast some icicles at the ants that killed some of them but those I killed were only fractions of the ants that were coming for me and there were even more ants coming out from the magic portal of Putie.

"Referees, she's cheating", I shouted to the referees.

"No, she's not, its permitted under the rules of this challenge. She's a charmer not a summoner", the referee replied to me.

Suddenly, it became evident to me as Putie shook the bells on her bangles.
