WISH UPON THE LAMP
"Thanks for sending people to retrieve us", I thanked the Sultan.
"It was because of me that you went to Bandra, but I regret to have you return to the city in this situation. I would have given you your reward, but it is taken away by the genie", Sultan Kappoe said to me pointing at his turban which was short of its biggest gem.
"Forget about the gem, where is the Sultannah now? Is she really healed?" I asked him.
"I don't know. Since the Genie came to the palace, my mother became even more strange", she replied to me.
"So, the Genie didn't heal your mother. So, by right he couldn't ask for his part of the bargain", I said to her.
"He did manage to take out a metal cage artifact from my wife. He told us that the artifact has been possessing her and afflicting her with the curse, so he performed his side of the deal", the Sultan said to me.
