After the Apostle's battle in Merernia city, the church was all riled up. A large army was assembled in Elis that would soon come to Kalydon, to seek revenge for the dead apostles.

The Havler family sent many diplomats and lobbyists to the church to explain their position but to no avail. The church has condemned the Havlers for killing their apostles and colluding with demons.

"Ivan, did you have a hand in the Havlers killing the apostles? I've thought about the things that you asked us to do for you, wiping ink from Charles Havler's letters and giving you Hening's wretched body, there must be a connection there somewhere," Mother Asereth asked me.
