(Levi's POV)

As we drove I really couldn't help watching her, during the fight I wish I could've been the one down there fighting for her, but she did amazing. My faith in her wavered a little when her family was brought was brought out, the anger I saw was real, but her heart was too kind to kill them. The guys had told me how Justin had tried to attack her, he was just a kid and if it were me I would've dealt with it differently, but she had handled it just fine, she truly was a Luna, my Luna.

This past month and a half, was painful, but Andrew was right, it made it so I wanted to be better, I have grown in a way I never really thought, I needed to. Andrew had taught me how to find a solution to troubled times, how to deal with my pack, how to be a true leader, something my father never did or even helped me see as a possibility, and now I could see the world so differently then before, and with Mia by my side, for sure.

"Where are we going?" she asked sleepily.

"We're almost there." I said as we turned a corner and there the house came into view.

"Oh, my gosh." Mia said in disbelief, we stopped right in front of it, and she stepped out.

"Welcome home." I said as she looked around at it.

"Levi, this....this is a big house.."

"Yeah, it's ours but it's also the pack house, where the pack can come and meet when needed and when we do our hunts."

"Is that why, you got it out here in the middle of the forest?"

"Yeah, that way we can run around and hunt."

She had the biggest smile on her face, as she turned and kissed me.

"You didn't need to do all this."

"You wanted me to change, for the better, this is change for the better."

"I'm proud of you, Levi, I just hope it wasn't just for me, you deserve a lot more then what...."

"I have everything I could ever want with you, Mia, don't ever doubt that."

She smiled as happy tears ran down her, face, I kissed her, then picked her up, as I carried my bride over the thresh hold, and up to our room. Where we couldn't wait to break in the bed.

(Mia's POV)

When I woke up, Levi was still sleeping, so carefully I got up and headed down stairs, and started to make breakfast, I finished and looked around the house, it was huge, well just for the two of us it was big, the living room was nice and roomy, as was the dining room, there was nice sized rooms with just standard beds and no real furniture yet, then I walked into one room, that had my heart warm, a baby room. It wasn't painted yet, but there was just a rocking chair, and some baby toys. I sat in the chair, and rocked, imagining our baby in here.

"You look beautiful." Levi's sleepy voice sounded at the door, I looked up and grinned.

"You think it's possible?"

"Sure it is, it won't be easy, but it's definitely possible."

I felt determined, but I understood what he meant.

"Breakfast is down stairs."

"I know but I don't want to eat alone."

I smiled and got to my feet, and let him lead me down stairs. We talked for a while, but we needed to get going. Him to work and me to class, he dropped me off at my class and he headed off. I found Jen, who looked like she was fighting a head ache. She then told me she and Andy got back late, she also told me he had gotten them a small house in the middle of the city, it had been thanks to Andrew and the money Andy had saved up. I was happy for them. The pack was falling into place, soon after class, Jen was talking to someone, so I walked out to the fresh air, the chemicals were giving me a head ache. To my surprise, Ronan was waiting for me outside.

"Hey, Levi didn't tell me, I was going to have a body guard."

"Not officially, but I didn't really come for that, I came to talk to you."

"Um...okay, what about?" I asked but soon Jen came outside.

"Ready, oh, hey Ronan..."

"I'll take it from here, Jen."

"Oh, Okay, I'll see ya tomorrow then."

"Yeah, see ya." I said giving Jen a hug and she walked away, leaving me and Ronan alone.

"So where to?" I asked.

"I actually want to see where you work if that's okay with you, we can have a coffee and talk."

"Um...sure." He pointed to his car, and I got into the passenger side, and he drove me to the cafe. There was tension in the car, like there was...something, I couldn't even see what it could be, but I knew there was something.

Once at the cafe, we sat down after we ordered, somehow we were laughing and poking fun at some random thing in the shop, something about the moment felt, right, like having a secret with a friend.

"How have you been handling your new position?"

"Honestly, I don't feel any different, I just feel...."

"Complete."

"Yeah, something like that." I looked at my hands, for a moment.

"Or is there something else?"

There it was, that something feeling, there was just something about the whole situation that made me feel able to tell Ronan, what I was feeling. Soon my coworker came over with our orders, and I took a sip of my coffee, and looked outside where the sun was slowly going down now, and light snow was falling.

"I just found out I was adopted, and all I know is that....my mother died, in a car crash."

Ronan seemed to freeze but, took a drink of his coffee.

"What about your father?"

"Nobody could find him, he never came to get me, so everyone assumed, my mother was raising me alone."

He nodded, and hmmed at times but otherwise let me talk. I must've sounded a little bitter but it was just the fact that my bio father had never come looking, that bugged me, if he even existed at all.

"How do you know he was of our kind?"

"My adopted mom, said something, that she couldn't believe 'they' had found me, so she knew something, or else, she wouldn't of said anything."

"My wonder is how did she know, unless she saw or heard something."

"True, but now I'll never know, none of my adopted family talks to me now, and after they were taken to be possibly killed, I doubt they'd say anything."

Ronan nodded I looked at my watch and downed the rest of my coffee.

"Well, I better get to work..."

"Before your boss, thinks of firing you, yeah sounds like a good idea." We both looked at Michelle, my boss.

"No, she wouldn't do that right?" I asked jokingly but started walking toward the counter, as she laughed. Then she turned to look at Ronan, who looked like he had seen a ghost.

"Well, thank you Mia, and excuse me miss..."

"Michelle."

"Michelle, well, nice to meet you, and I'll talk to you later, Mia."

"See ya Ronan."

He glanced at Michelle and then walked out.

"How is it you know so many good looking men, Mia?"

"Just lucky I guess, but Ronan is old, maybe late forties early fifties, and he's my boyfriend's friend not mine exactly."

"Hmmm, anyway, let's get to work."

We got to work, and the rest of the afternoon went by busy and normal.

Over the next few days, Levi had meetings with all the pack, so they had an idea on what was expected of everyone, he laid down all the rules: everyone was welcome at the house, I was Luna so respect if I gave an order, if a wolf wanted to join to bring them here. Then he asked me and the women to leave for a bit, but I could hear everything, it was about women, he was giving the men an all clear to bring their mates, but no randoms, the house wasn't a hotel, and if he heard of any woman being forced into anything by them, he himself would deal with the wolf, that caused the offense.

I found that Justin had really taken to me, it was strange, but I thought it would be okay as long as I made myself clear we were just friends. Then I started to finds things out, he was just seventeen, kicked out of his house, his parents not caring where he was.

"How do you look so old, dude?"

"Life on the street does that to a kid."

"How long have you been away from home?"

"They kicked me out at sixteen, the ironic thing is my mother cheated and she got to stay but I'm the wolf and gets kicked out."

"Jeez, I'm sorry."

"How old are you?" he asked me.

"I'm twenty, almost twenty-one."

"You're the big sister I never had."

"Or wanted I bet."

We laughed, but he talked with Levi, and we agreed he could stay here with us. I was surprised to find he was still trying to get his GED, but we allowed it. Justin really wanted to better his life too so why not give him the chance.

Things were finally in a kind of flow, Christmas was around the corner too, I found that Justin was a little on the geeky side, so I took the liberty of getting him a laptop, and I got Levi a tablet, so he could work on his designs. I was getting ready for Christmas, decorating and such, we'd been in the house for only a month but it was feeling like so much. Specially on the week before Christmas, Eve and Justin were helping me, but just trying to get everything ready was so overwhelming, Eve was keeping an eye on the food, and Justin was helping me get things put into place, and we still had a few things felt to do, I was starting to get a migraine.

"Hey you okay?"

"Yeah, I just need some air."

But right as I walked toward the door, I was hit with a smell, I looked at Justin, he smelled it too.

"Eve?" I called as I made my way to the kitchen where Eve was. She was standing in the middle of the kitchen, looking shocked and scared, I walked over to her, and saw her water had broken.

"My baby." she whispered, clearly in shock.

"Justin, get the truck turn it on, and bring it to the front."

"Okay." he ran out of the house.

"Okay, Eve, You're going into labor, nice and easy but also let's start moving toward the door."

She was as calm as possible, as we made our way to the door, she was breathing, stopping a every few steps, until she gasped loudly, stopping completely.

"What are you feeling, what's wrong?"

"Mia, my baby....is coming!"

"Okay, just breath, um....Justin!" I called and he ran back in, " change of plan, get some towels and stuff, and follow us to one of the rooms, after I need you to call Robert and Levi."

"Okay." he said looking pale, as I picked Eve, up and took her to one of the rooms, and sat her down on the bed, she was huffing and puffing, and I washed my arms with boiling water, and some alcohol.

"Okay, Eve just breath and I'm going to check you okay."

She nodded still breathing through the pain, carefully I put my fingers up and she was wide, full five fingers open.

"Okay, let's get you comfortable, Justin call the guys!"

"Um... Mia, you sure you don't want to take her to the hospital?"

"The roads are too snowy and the baby would be born on the way, she's better off here, now go call Robert and Levi."

"Okay!" he said and ran off, I turned my attention back to my best friend, as her breathing got more labored and got her as comfy as I could, then knelt down in front of her.

"Okay, Eve, nice and easy, when you're ready okay."

"Now, I need to push now, Mia!"

"Okay, one..two..three..push."

She hunkered down and pushed, but in that first push I knew something was wrong. She pushed again, and I confirmed my hunch, I felt the baby's feet not it's head, okay...stay calm.

"Okay, Eve, one more big push okay."

"Mia, what's wrong?"

Damn it she had caught my hesitation, but I couldn't worry her like that right now.

"Nothing, just one more push, come on."

She pushed again, the baby was half way out, it's head was still not all clear.

"Okay, Eve one more time."

One last push and the baby was out, but it wasn't breathing, flipping it over and slapping it in the back gently, but enough to get it breathing.

"They're half way here, they were already on..."

"Come, honey, breath." I said, now carefully blowing into the baby's mouth and nose.

"Mia, what's wrong with my baby?"

I didn't listen, I was trying to focus. The second felt like hours, I heard Levi and Robert walk in, Eve was in tears, and I was so close to being the same, when the baby gasped, and her frail little cries started, I sighed in relief, as she cried a little louder. I grabbed a towel, and handed her to her mother.

"Congratulations on your baby girl." I said sitting back on the floor.

"A girl, my baby girl." said Eve, Robert came to sit next to Eve, they were lost in the moment. I cut the umbilical cord and picked up the bloody towels.

"Mia." said Robert, " thank you."

I nodded and walked out of the room, Levi, standing in the doorway, and Justin looking pale on the other side. I headed to the kitchen, to clean up too.

"How did you know what to do?" asked Justin, as soon as we got there.

"Honestly, I didn't but Eve's my best friend, she needed me so..."

"You did that not knowing anything!?"

"I baby sat before, I know baby CPR, and all that what I didn't know was how to bring a baby into the world, now I can add that to my list of things."

Both men just stared in surprise. As I finished up, soon Robert, had Eve in his truck and heading to the hospital. Later, calling us to let us know, that baby and Mama were just fine.
