/EDAM/
Huh!"
Naya took a step back.
This way, Lord Edam roam his gaze down on her, could she be fidgeting after daring to spurt out her venting voice at him in front of his clans?
No one has ever tried that with him nor looked at him the way she does, how manage she was able to withstand him?
This interested him, he'd want to know from where she got her courage.
"Are you afraid now? You dare call me a murderer out there! Now you..."
Naya raised her head to him, her face hardened, looking at the confident eyes again, Lord Edam snap into a deep huff, his word stuck for some seconds,
"I'm not afraid of you! I mean, I couldn't be afraid of a King who doesn't care about the affairs of his clans?"
Did she say that again? Why does she keep on repeating it boldly? How old is she to lecture him how to handle the affairs of his kingdoms? Yet, he lay still wanting to know her intentions.
"Are you blaming me that I'm the root reason behind the rebels in your Kingdom?"
Naya barely allows him to wrap words before answering bluntly, "Yes! Those rebels need you to do something for them but because you never care, they kept attacking and killing innocent lives!"
He frowned, Naya sees it but seems to care lesser or not care at all, her hand kept dancing in the air with rages of hatred towards him,
"And you think, your arrogance worth it?" He said simply.
She paused, her hand hanging still, she puffed in her cheeks, as if she Is about to burst into a laugh or something scarier,
"My arrogance? After you killed my twins before my very eyes, you'd expect me to give damn respect to you?"
Lord Edam was calm and cool even though it amused him, yet, he hide It under a mild face that Naya could not discern his true intentions despite staring intently. He assumed Naya could read him whether he is calmed, outrageous, or cool.
She seems to know that about him, if not, how could she catch his attention from the first day?
Lord Edam rest on his back, he spread flat his hands on the bed as if he'd embrace anyone who gets closer,
"You woke up earlier than I thought, My hands aches after the fight..."
"Huh?!"
Naya cut him abruptly, seems she expected him to freak out and be more hurt but why the calmness? He sure knows how to make her pissed.
Hearing her 'humm' which called for the question, Lord Edam nudge his head to gaze at her again, he harden his gaze.
"Since my hands ache so much after dealing with them, how about you give me massage on my hands to relieve the aches."
Naya clenched her jaw, her teeth grate heavily that Lord Edam could hear it, he chuckles inwardly yet frown on his face,
"You are still standing?" He said and face up.
Naya seems confused, this was what she'd wanted, she has been staying recessive all these years with the hope that one day, she would secure a means to get closer to him, a means to make him fall for her, a means to know the exact way she had forfeited her first life and a means to correct it but why does he appear like a filthy rag before her?
Why does she feel like it doesn't matter anymore?
Her lips sneer up in disgust, erupting, she sits by his side, her hands do according to his command.
Lord Edam could not infer why her action made him laugh inwardly, somehow he feels satisfied to see her angry side,
"Massage the fingers gently and do it one after the other, don't squeeze it."
Naya cursed underneath, she nods as if taking pity on him, If he'd known she wish to nail the hand or amputate it, he wouldn't have commanded her to massage it. The more... Naya fumes, how dare he made her massage the hand he threw Nick with?
"O...oo...ok." She massages him, even though both her hands appear like the little tom on top of Jerry.
After some time, Lord Edam could sense something about her, though seems unclear. Another thing that somewhat interest him was him not being able to read her memory.
He could do that virtually to anyone he made physical contact with but pinning her down on the bed earlier, this fuming girl beside him, he couldn't read her terrors. All that he saw was a blurred vision that he could only guess what might have happened to her.
Why couldn't he read her memory? He breathes in not being able to answer the bother.
"Were you being affected by illusion? Did you see that I killed your twins?"
Naya pulled aback as she remove her hand, she answer immediately, "Yes! I do!"
"Where?!" Lord Edam becomes more curious.
Naya was quiet, was he denying he did nothing to him? Or trying to get on her bad side again? Or could it be a dream?
No, she cried! She felt it real!
Lord Edam sees he was carried away, quiet and confused, he buttresses with a husky voice,
"Then, you're suffering from delusion. Massage both my hands, that is your punishment for today, later, I will decide If I could give you a harder one."
Naya bulge her eyes opened, then, furrowed her brows, "What? Am I your slave or what? I'm a Princess! You have those slaves that do it for you."
This time, his response drift from a cocky to a cheesy voice, "No one! No one dares to touch me!"
He relaxed.
Naya went numb, what does that supposed to mean? Does that mean she is the first to massage him? Her stomach knot.
She should have felt butterflies instead.
She wanted to retaliate but gazing at him, she retrieved, hearing him snoring.
She leap down the lump in her gut, her hands massaging him properly, yet, her gaze could not divert from him.
