Naya could not believe she'd sleep on Nick's arms within the short time. She had heard a lot about Lord Edam —how scary he is— which was why she had prepared her mind strong and timid to face this time squarely. But when the reality hit, she realized he is damn scarier than what they'd portrayed him.
Also, the fact that she did not remember the time she spent with him creates a tonne of fear in her that whenever she heard his name, thunder stroke across her once rigid heart.
She rolled her eyes to open, waking up to a strange place, weariness overwhelmed her instantly.
"Where is this place?"
She sat up from a hard ground before it hint her she was laying on a stone. Prowling her bulged eyes around, it met with Lord Edam, staring as he lay peacefully beside her. It seems he has stayed in that position for a long. As the awareness strode her, she compose but dive backward almost collapse, "Gosh!" she screeched.
However, Lord Edam hold her in place before she landed. "Were you scared?!" His cheesy voice hit her along with his right arm crossing her abdomen.
Naya was stunned by his sudden grip, strode some invisible hair behind her ears, she cleared her throat and form to compose.
Lord Edam removes his arm at the vibration of her body, he smirks inwardly, whereas, Naya glanced around, her lips parted in awe. This place, how can she not know? She climbs down from the rock, dreamily rambling around.
"The Mountain at the Terubial Sea!" She exclaimed inwardly, turning to Lord Edam who still lay calmed, his gaze following her.
Naya scold, there is no way Lord Edam would be that ocean blue eyes man but this place is exactly the same structure as the mountain.
She was amused and confused but part of her feel relaxed, —even if Lord Edam happens to be the man, there's no way he can recognize her.— This way, she assured her mind not to think unnecessarily because the man cannot be Lord Edam. Her instinct was assured while she observe the place more.
After a short moment, Naya quivers suddenly. Apart from seeing the place at the Terubial sea, she has the feeling she has been there once. Definitely, he brought her here once
Naya could not withstand how hard it is for her to recall the moment but so sure it must be the night she had that scary dream about Nick.
Why can't she remember?
"Have... have...I....I... been here before?" She stammered as the awareness shocked her deeply.
"Uhm!" Lord Edam nod even before she scales through her stammering.
His confirmation shocked Naya the more, she did not expect him to accept easily. Her eyes rolled, brainstorming.
Why didn't she has these feelings until now? She shut her eyes closed for a while, just then she starts recalling. Gradually, all that happened days ago reoccur in her head.
"What?!" She exclaimed with fright.
However, Lord Edam huff, he feels more refreshed from the depth of his belly as Naya soaked in dismay, "That was because I erased your memory of that moment," He whispered less concerned.
Before he let out further, Naya interrupts, "But... but... I remember now"
Lord Edam frowned, he recalled how boldly she confronted him, right away, his refreshed belly consumed by bitterness that even he feels some shivers.
"You don't need it out there"
She frowns at his reply, "What does that suppose to mean?"
"uhn...uhn..." He looks astray before chipping in, "It means I brought you here and you can only remember everything that happened to you in here whenever you're here."
"Once you're out of here, this moment gets away also,"
Listening to him, Naya could not admit it, "Why... Why... did... you bring me... here... then,"
Immediately, Lord Edam responds in a cocky voice, "Because you're serving my punishment. Your wings might be high because you're a Princess but currently. You're enslaved to me!"
Naya becomes mute, this can't be! This can't be happening to her, for how long?
"What King gives a groggy punishment and still feels proud of himself? You should cover your eyes in the ocean of shame,"
Her resounding boldness and blunted words shock Lord Edam, he shouldn't have brought her back when he'd know she will remember all those memories but somehow he feel lesser hurt than his usual self.
Naya turn away from him as soon as she spewed out on him, if this hurt him then, she won't get out of there alive. She moves distance while comparing him and the Ocean blue eyes man.
Somehow, her mind could not just admit they are different werewolves but think about the circumstances that surrounded both of them... She is confused.
Lord Edam just said to her that she won't remember whatsoever happens here once she leaves but as for the Ocean blue eyes man, she'd remember everything after getting out of the mountain.
Aside, Lord Edam cannot shapeshift, his narcissistic way of life won't allow that to happen. This is enough assurance they are two different werewolves but if that be it, then, who is that man?
Naya mulled over and over yet her mind could not come to a definite conclusion. Even more, her curiosity springs out.
What is the core mystery behind the two places having exact structure while they are located at different places?
Abruptly she turn to Lord Edam and confront with exclusive boldness, "But why did you erase my memory of here?!"
"Uhm!" Lord Edam stood from his position.
His sudden action startled Naya, yet, she compares. This particular 'Uhm!' he made right now... For some seconds, Naya correlates it with the man.
'It sounded exactly like his!' she exclaimed inwardly,
'No!' She shut herself at once, 'This can't be!'
Why is she feeling extremely tormented?
Nonetheless, Lord Edam steps forward away from her while maintaining a heavenly calmness and mumbles, "This is my territory, only I Is entitled to be here and know of this place... therefore, why should I allow someone else to have such memory?"
Naya dragged back, could she hear him audibly? That man said the same thing... but... but... he did not erase her memory.
She gazes at his back heinously. Were you that ocean blue eyes man I met earlier?! Then why did you not erase my memory of the place?! Why are you creating a barrier in my head! She wanted to squeal out loud upon his face but she retrieved,
Why is her instinct not supporting her this time?
