Ch. 6 Taking over

Don's finally mastered teleporting with the nikyu nikyu no mi. It took quite a bit longer than he expected. After a month of constant training he got his devil fruit to lvl 9 and managed to do it. Time to end this charade with Silco.

He arrives at the Last Drop and has Sevika lead him into the man's office. "He's angry you've been missing for so long. Keep that in mind."

Don walks into the office and sees the signature back of his chair. "Silco, it's been a while."

"Yes it has Don where have you been?" Silco replies from behind the chair.

"To be honest? I've been training to kill you." Don says. Silence descends on the room for a few seconds before Sevika quickly unveils her cloak revealing a mechanical arm.

She forms the fingers on the mechanical arm into sharp points and stabs at Don. However as she's moving forward Dons figure flickers then disappears. He reappears behind her spinning slightly before landing a palm on her back. She launches into the wall in front of Silco who still hasn't turned around.

"Well it seems you're quite determined. Let's see if you can handle my shimmer giants then."

Silco presses a button on the underside of his desk and two cages hidden in the walls holding two deformed people begin injecting a certain amount of purple chemicals into them. They begin growing, turning into tall muscly men with purple lines running throughout their bodies.

The cages are broken and the beastly men turn to Silco waiting for orders. "Kill him."

The two giant men start running towards Don and both launch a punch at him. However he follows their trajectories with his sharingan and holds out his palms to meet the punches. Time seems to stagnate a bit before the two giants are launched away through the air.

Don disappears again before reappearing above a giant his palm extended and compressing an air blast. It launches into the giants chest caving in a paw print killing it instantly. This force launches the giant through the floor.

At this moment Jinx drops from the ceiling with her gattling gun revving. "Stop Don!"

"Sorry Jinx but I'm going to be in charge from now on. He's been manipulating you, but I'm sure you know that." Don says before extending a hand slowly and disappearing.

She begins firing at where Don was while saying, "Run Silco!"

Silco at this realizes his situation and begins turning to break through the window and head into the streets. However before he could take more than two steps Don appears in front of him with a palm extending towards his face. "Wait—"

That was the last word Silco said before an air bomb blasted apart his head. Jinx turns and see the headless Silco and drops to her knees, "Why? He was good to me… I've been left behind again!"

Don wipes his hand of the brain matter with a handkerchief and says, "He was using you, plus he's the reason your friends and Vander died. I'm honestly surprised you followed him."

Jinx clutches her head and begins crying, "Everyone's gone! They've all left me!"

'Tch, there's still some mental instability left behind I guess. Years of psychosis will do that I guess.'

Don walks up to Jinx grabbing her chin and lifting up her crying face. "Listen Jinx, not everyone's gone. I'm here, and I want to get your sister out of jail. But to do that I need your help taking over Silco's gang."

She blinks then says, "Why should I trust you? Vi left me, Silco manipulated me. No one's ever been good to me…"

"First of all Vi was locked up in jail, otherwise I'm sure she would be here right now." Don says.

"But—"

"No buts, secondly I chose to be your friend after you tried to kill me twice and cured your mental illness. That already puts me ahead of Silco. Now,"

Don extends his hand, "Are you with me or not?"

Jinx wipes her cheeks of the tears and puts her hand in his allowing him to bring her standing. He looks into her eyes then brings her into a hug, "Trust me Jinx, I'll make our names echo across Valoran."

They stay there for a few moments Jinx's heart beating rapidly. Don let's her go and turns to Sevika pretending to be unconscious behind them. "Sevika, gather anyone important in the gang. The gang is going to be under different leadership for now."
