The Palace of Winter

"Arachne, huh…" Dianna gave a sigh. "I must say, Cyanide, if there's one thing you didn't learn from my father, it's his naming sense. Dianna is a great name, after all."

"Is there a problem?" Cyanide arched an eyebrow. "Her appendages resemble that of a black widow spider, and her outfit's color scheme match as well. Everything about her screams 'spider', so taking 'Arachne' from 'arachnid' makes perfect sense to me, does it not?"

"Putting it like that, the logic is sound, but…" Luna scratched her head a bit. "Do you really not mind being called 'Arachne' from now on…? It sounds somewhat… ungraceful."

"If it is the name Master has chosen to bestow upon me, then naturally I do not mind," the spider woman said, now known as Arachne. "Besides, I have never had a name before in my life, so I can hardly discern between a 'good' name and a 'bad' name. Any will do."
