Harmony had wondered before if he liked her as a woman before dismissing the thought as crazy. That wasn't possible since they were two different races of fae. Their relationship was entirely transactional, even if they were friendlier with each other than they had been for the first two decades of it.

Even if they remained friends, things would be different than before. They wouldn't need to sleep together so there would be no reason to continue living in the same apartment.
