Aaron was listening intently, admiring how clever his little kitty was. He smiled and patted her head.

"You know what they call it in my world?"

"What?" Aaron asked, pretending to be very amused by her talks. After she had admitted to being from another 'super modern' world, she had started referring her original world as 'my world'. It stung Aaron a bit, as if she was declaring she was a foreigner here and would eventually leave him behind. But he also liked how she raised her chin and patted her chest, as if she was the representative of that other world.
