He opened his eyes or at least tried to, then he remembered that he didn't have any eyes to open.
'I feel like my energy was zapped from me in an instant'.
Luke then yawned in his mind and remembered what happened before he passed out.
"Hey, system how long was I out for", Luke said while groaning in his thoughts.
"The host has been asleep approximately, in your home calendar, 3 years 11 months 15 days 2 hours 41 minutes and 36 seconds".
'Jeeze that long guess I better catch up, if I had anything to catch up on'.
Luke laughed at his joke mentally and then got down to business

'No there is no way I gained all of those skills by sleeping it must have to do with my evolution, and what better way to know than to ask'.
"System how did I gain all of these new skills"?
"The host gained them by evolving into the Basic Oak Tree Seed".
'Ok, I guess I should have expected that'.
"System how did I gain this new thing in my status".
"Knowledge for that answer is in the grey zone contacting HQ for help".

'What does is it mean by contacting HQ'?
'I'll probably have to get a higher authorization to know, guess that's just another reason to get stronger'.
Right as Luke finished that thought a voice arose in this mind.
"HQ approved access of question".
"Whenever you hit a milestone you gain and upgrade to your status, such as how long until the next milestone, the host can also unlock new function by doing certain things that will not be exposed until the host does them".
'Alright, I guess that makes sense, lets go ahead and look at these new skills'.
Luke then opened his status once again and looked deeply into the skills.

Gain 1 Sun Gene every 6 months the sun is exposed to you.
Skill - Laughable Defense(Passive)
Gain a minuscule defense from the toughness of the seed.
Skill - Insatiable Growth (TP)
Gain 50% more genes from being at the very beginning of a new evolution tree.
Skill - Horrible Sight (AP, OFF)
Have eyesight of about 2 feet away from you, very blurry, can only see 30 degrees around you at a time, inactivated because the host is in a pitch-black area.

'Wow, this Horrible Sight skill is practically trash where I am which I'm pretty sure is underground'.
"System what does TP mean"?
"TP or Temporary-Passive means that after a certain time has passed or a certain goal is reached it will disappear, in the host's case Insatiable Growth will disappear after the next evolution".
'Dang, it I thought I would keep that OP skill forever'.
'Guess all I can do now is wait, now that I have nothing else to do'.
And boy did he wait every twelve months he would gain 2 sun gene points and eventually he got pretty close.

'SOOOOOO CLOOOOOSE, just a little more time and ill be able to evolve, I cant wait'!

'Just a little more ill be able to evolve, just gotta lay back and relax, the time won't be going any fast if I'm excited all day, speaking of all day it is kind of strange how my Bad Sun Absorption skill never turned off, I guess the place I'm at has no day, night cycle or just spins very, very slow.'

Just as Luke was going to finish his thoughts he noticed something very strange.
'Why did my Horrible Sight Skill turn on'?
It was then that he used it for the first time and saw a speck of light hitting him, he saw a... worm?
'HOLY SHIT, that scared me so bad I thought I might have reincarnated again, good thing it's just a worm and won't be able to hurt me'.
Almost as if on cue, after he said that is his mind the worm started opening a mouth, and had what looked to be razor-sharp teeth.
'Me and my big mouth almost forgot this isn't Earth, of course, its a worm with teeth'.
Right after the teeth were shown the worm started chowing down like he was in an all you can eat buffet, luckily it was kind of hard to eat thanks to his 'defense skill' if it can even be called that, but to Luke, all that meant was a slower more painful death, YES he felt pain as a seed.
"OW, OW, OUCH, WHY THE HELL DOES THIS HURT AS A SEED"
"The reason why the host is feeling pain is due to the HQ letting his question pass even though it feels more towards the next authorization level, making it so your next time getting hurt no matter if you have pain receptacles or not, and to boost up the pain a bit, in the CEO's words 'Make it a living hell, you know for the viewers".
'Great now I don't just have to survive as a plant that can't do anything but now I have to survive with a masochist CEO... wait CEO, viewers'?
"System who is this CEO and who are these viewers"?
"Authorization too low to answer".
'damn it guess I got to wait a bit longer, anyways back to absorbing the sun and having a peaceful li-'.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH, I WAS SO DEEP IN THOUGHT I FORGOT ABOUT THIS PAIN, AHHHHH".
After almost 5 minutes of constant screaming, he was almost all devoured up.
'I guess this is the end, although I barely lived I feel content for some reason'
It was just at that moment the moment he was about to be eaten alive when something strange happened the worm the was eating him was, EATEN IN A FLASH OF BLUE! All he could see for a good minute was what looked like a ginormous blue worm running in the soil, but it could be a snake for all he could know, don't forget how trash his eyesight is, but no matter what saved him all he could think about what was in his sight right now.
