Luke said that as he look down at the war the worms were holding up a good defense, but they were about to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of soldiers on the other side, although small compared to the rest of the forest, the worms were still bigger than your average worm, same goes for the ants, but still, the war was creating chaos.
Then, Luke said his first words in a long time, it sounded like a strike of thunder yet a hint of gentleness in it, the kind that girls would go crazy over.
"LISTEN UP, MAGGOTS. I AM YOUR MOTHER TREE AND YOU WILL TAKE ORDERS FROM ME LIKE YOUR OWN MOTHER. I NEED THE ASSUALT UNIT TO CREATE A SPEARHEAD AND RUSH AT THE ENEMIES. DEFENSE TEAM, STAY BEHIND AND MAKE SURE NO ENEMIES GET CLOSE TO YOUR HOME. CONSTRUCTION TEAM GETS YOUR SLIMY ASS IN THERE, WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET. I NEED THE SCOUTS TO USE THEIR NATURAL SPEED AND GO BEHIND THE ENEMY LINES AND SANDWICH THEM."
The worms were confused but followed the order nun the less, although they don't have the best brains they can still follow basic orders, and just as he said the assault team entered a spear formation as the scouts started to rush to the other side of the battlefield and the ant army was visibly melting, not just because of the strategy Luke used, but because of the morale boost, it brought to them. The only thing they could think is 'THE MOTHER TREE CAN TALK, WE CAN'T LET OUR HOME DOWN.'
It seemed to work and the ant army was eliminated in a couple more minutes, not without injury of course.
