Prelude of War
It was a sunny day, no clouds in the sky, there was a worm, she was pulling some berries that she just scavenged towards the nest when all of a sudden her body started making weird shapes almost like there was a creature in her trying to escape, clawing at her insides, it was horrible pain, after minutes of this pain she exploded into a gas that, at an incredible speed, went towards the mother tree and was sucked up.

'I just recently got a breakthrough but the next breakthrough is just gonna take longer, I wonder if the mechanic has finished yet.'
Just on a cue, a voice reached him.
"Mother tree, mother tree I have done it, I've created the cannon and a lot of cannonballs. Now even if the bear territory attacks us we will be fine."
"Great! Now we just need to make more a lot more, I'm sure you can handle that."
"Yes mother tree, it would be my pleasure."
"Hey mechanic you've got one thing wrong, we won't be defending with those, we will be attacking."
The mechanic doubted his words in his mind but something about the way the mother tree said it made it seem true. He then went down back to his workplace to continue working on making some cannons.
'Well the time is almost here, I'm going to be going to war with the wolves soon we just need more territory and if we get it we can expand exponentially, I think it's time I start thinking outside of the forest.'
"Hey, you go and get me an elite scout", Luke said in a demanding tone to a random worm, "Yes mother tree, right away."
Once the elite scout was told to go over to the mother tree, he went right away.
"What is it you need mother tree?"
"I need you to tell me what it is like beyond the forest."
"Uhh, well mother tree it is, uhh, it's complicated you see we don't exactly know what it's like outside of the forest because of a weird barrier on the perimeter of the forest."
"A what? a barrier, well this complicated things, well you can go back you your business worm."
As the worm scurried away Luke began to ponder.
'A barrier huh, definitely man maid, if not then an intelligent species like man, but why did they put a barrier around the forest are they spying on us or something, maybe they are collecting resources from here, or it could also be a type of experiment. Never mind it doesn't matter why they are doing it only matters that they are doing it in the first place. So they think they can keep me locked up in here, do they? Well, they got another thing coming if they think they can stop me, but that is for the future for now we need to focus on the present.'
'I can't wait to take these wolves down.'

In the place near Luke.
"Boss, you need to see this."
"What is it Ben you know I don't have much patience because last time you showed me something it was a po-"
"I get it boss but this time is different, it's these worms, you know the ones that built their home against the worm oak tree."
"Get to the point Ben."
"Yes boss, you see the tree gave birth to a new species of worm that seems to be very intelligent for a worm, the thing is, now that they have that worm they are discovering technology at an incredible rate, they have already started making pickaxes and cannons, that are completely usable for worms."
"WHAT! How are they doing this, is it all because of that red worm? Listen up Ben we NEED that red worm and I expect you to be able to get it for me. Capeesh?"
"Yes boss, on it."
"Good and make sure to not destroy all of our land on the way."
The grunt then left the room leaving only the boss in it.
"This new breed of worm could revolutionize tech as we know it, which also means ILL MAKE A SHIT TON OF MONEY, HAHAHA."

"Mechanic worm tell me the number of cannons we have."
"Well, you see mother tree we have about 1000 cannons and, thousands of cannonballs."
"Fantastic, you have done well mechanic, you can stop building the cannons from now on, you can continue making more cannonballs though, you never know how much we will need."
"Does that mean..."
"Yes, you can start trying to produce 'that'."
"YES, thank you mother tree may all worms prevail."
"Yes, yes, may all worms prevail, now go get to work and start creating 'that'."
The mechanic worm then descended into the nest to start working on his next creation.
