Human Invasion (1)

20 days later.

Luke was having the unique fish fight each other in pairs. The past 20 days have been pure training, he had them learn how to use their techniques better by fighting him 1 on 1. He also had them fight him in groups so they got used to group fight versus one opponent that is a lot stronger, they also fought each other in 2 different groups so they could get used to what would happen on the battlefield. Lastly, he was having them fight 1 v 1 fights against even opponents, that was what they were working on right now and they were a couple of days into the 1 on 1 training. It was fun for Luke to play the mentor role after getting beat up time after time by his own mentor, the whale.

Luke knew that it wouldn't last long though especially since there are about 10 days at the maximum left until the invasion begins. He had grown a bit attached to the fish but he knew he should try to detach himself from them because of what happened the last time he lead a group. Luke had also been teaching them some strategies to implement if the situation needed it, he wanted to teach them it so that in case he got split up from them they could survive on their own.

After about half the day was spent training in 1 v 1 fights, Luke heard bells ringing all over the coral reef and he knew what it meant, the cultivators were trying to open up the gate so that they could enter the ocean area. The good thing for the fishes though is that it takes about an hour to open up the gate since the seal is strong and hard to open, so they had time to meet up back at the meeting room and get ready for the fight, the only problem is that they didn't know where the gate would open.

Luke lead his legion to the meeting room, they needed to hear what was happening so they could have a grasp of what was going to happen. After a couple of minutes of swimming, they reached the meeting room, and when they did they could feel the pressure of the other fish. All of the fish from the coral reef were in the meeting room at the time and they were all an advanced realm cultivator or higher, so the pressure that was given off was great.

"Alright since we have all gathered here you all must know what is coming, the human cultivators are invading and we need all of you to be prepared, luckily we had 20 days of training which is on the higher amount of days we could have had so you should all be a bit ready to fight. Listen up, I need all of you to spread out in the ocean area and guard a certain area, we don't know where the gate will open but once it does open we will know trust me, the spiritual energy needed to open up the gate is immense, so you will know when it opens. You will all guard the same place that you trained in the coral reef, for example. The dragon over here trained his legion in the southeast section the so he will guard the southeast section in the ocean area, you should be able to infer your own areas from this. Once the gate is opened I need all legions to rush over the area because only one legion won't be able to handle the whole invasion. That about wraps it up, although I would like to plan for the actual attack it will be too chaotic for any plans to work that we come up with beforehand, so good luck soldiers, and fight hard. Now go to your sections and get ready for a large battle."

After the meeting, all of the sea creatures along with their generals leading them left the meeting room, then the coral reef area, and after about 30 minutes landed at their section to guard. Luke wanted to make a speech but then he remembered that he only knew how to speak worm, which was rare for a non-worm to have, which made him wonder why the whale took the time to learn how to speak worm.

After waiting for a good 10 or 20 minutes Luke felt something extremely powerful and full of spiritual energy, and he knew what it was, the gate was open!

Luke tried to feel where it was coming from and he wasn't able to feel it coming through any of the areas that they were preoccupying, it was coming from the sky!

Luke then rush to the area that opened with his legion and so did the other legions, after a bit of swimming, they reached where the gate was. The gate wasn't what Luke expected, it was like a black void and all he could see inside of it was darkness and pitch-black color. That wasn't the most important part though because in front of the gate was around 70 humans, 50 of them were only in the advanced or peak spirit realm, but the 20 others were giving off the same pressure that the other six generals gave off, and one of the twenty felt even more dangerous than the others.

"It seems you were right leader, something real fishy was going on in this place, Hell there is even a baby dragon!"

"Yes my gut feelings are never wrong, it seems that these young cultivators will be getting some real experience, learning how to fight in large battles. There is only one way for us to teach them how to fight, and that is for them to fight! ATTACK!"

That was when the battle truly began, but if only Luke knew that in that group of people was someone very similar to him, Ethan.
