A loud thud filled the air. Derek had been flung to a corner by Damiel, his eyes as red as a flaming sword. He was not taking it easy on his father, flinging him up and down. Derek did not want to fight back because he knew how much he messed up, as a father and as a husband. He could only let Daniel express his grief before they thought about how to save the other ones.

"Stand up!" Daniel shouted at him.

He wiped the blood that was coming out from his nose. His son had grown to become a man, he had not expected him to know how to use his powers this way, even though he could still see he had problems in controlling it.

"We have to stop this Daniel, it's a waste of time." he said to him.

"Then let's waste it." he replied to him.

Daniel shifted to his wolf form, charging at him with full force and sending him flying backwards again. He shifted back to his human form, growling loudly through the forest.

"Stand up," he said again.
