Mason tried to ease my irritated skin with cold water but I was still down.

"What did you say you ate at the restaurant?"  I breathe.

"It was just pasta." I had no strength for a conversation, neither could I force the words to come out like I would like. All of this was happening too suddenly and now, everyone was confused about it.

"And you didn't eat anything prior to that?"

I shook my head, unable to speak.

He nodded as he cleaned my face and my body. I winced there was a lot of pain running through my body. Mason with worried eyes stared at me saying. "Let me rush to the infirmary, let me see if I can get morphine, for the pain." He sighed. "We need to know what's wrong with you. Maybe it is because of the shift, you'll be fine hun. Just hang in there."
