Chapter 7 Whose suit did you wear back yesterday?

Now, Ian Leighton had the mental capacity of a four-year-old child. How could Grace Gordon blame her brother, who once loved her so much?

Before the accident happened, everyone said that the adopted son of the Gordon Family, Ian Leighton, was a wolf... There was no project he couldn't get if he set his eyes on it, and no company he couldn't acquire. Such a business legend and pride of heaven, had now become like this.

The doctor said that there was a high possibility for Ian Leighton to recover, but after all these years... there had never been any sign of recovery. On the contrary, it seemed to be getting worse as he would forget everything after a while and not remember anything... even needing to be taught how to speak from scratch.

Grace Gordon was pulled downstairs by Ian Leighton, only to see Susan Gordon, who was dressed in formal attire, indignantly talking on the phone with someone.

"I also want my sister to get a divorce as soon as possible! Alright... Sister Gail, don't be angry anymore. This matter must be solved eventually. Fortunately, you'll be back soon. After you return, please do persuade my sister. You know she listens to you the most!" said Susan Gordon.

Grace Gordon entered the restaurant with Ian Leighton and asked, "Was it Gail?"

"Mm..." Susan nodded as she hung up the phone, "Sister Gail said that her plane has just landed in Country F and is about to transfer, she will arrive in four hours. She said that you both agreed today that you would pick her up, but your cellphone couldn't be reached. When she called Platinum Residence, the Aunt there said you didn't return yesterday, so she called our home to ask."

Yes, Grace Gordon had promised Gail Wright that she would pick her up, but she had forgotten about it due to the chaos yesterday.

Grace Gordon pulled out a chair and sat down, her brows slightly furrowed, "Did you tell her about yesterday's incident?"

"Not me! Sister Gail saw it in the newspaper herself..." Susan said as she handed today's newspaper to Grace Gordon.

The headline on the front page read: The Yale's President's wife rescued from kidnappers, suspects held for seeking revenge.

Grace Gordon read the content of the newspaper carefully, which was mostly true... except that they had quietly left out the part about Stanhope Brown visiting her yesterday.

"By the way, sis, whose suit did you wear back yesterday? The servants have washed and ironed it for you, but it doesn't seem like it belongs to that beast Lewis."

"Beast?" Ian Leighton looked at Grace Gordon and Susan Gordon with a confused expression.

"Brother, behave! That's a swear word... don't learn it!" Susan Gordon told Ian Leighton.

"But... Lewis is my brother-in-law! Why is Susan cursing my brother-in-law? What does 'beast' mean... is it a bad person? A very bad, very bad person?"

Grace Gordon looked at Ian Leighton and laughed softly, "Brother... do you want to go pick up Gail with me this afternoon?"

Upon hearing that Grace Gordon would take him outside, Ian Leighton's face lit up with joy, "Yes, yes! I can go out and play with Grace!"

"Sis..." Susan Gordon was a bit worried, fearing that the reporters outside might take pictures of Ian Leighton and cause trouble.

"It's alright! I'll look after brother..." Grace Gordon said with a smile on her face as she looked at Ian Leighton.

Ian Leighton's smile became even brighter, revealing two pear-shaped dimples on his fair face, identical to Grace Gordon's, sweet as honey.
