Chapter 79: Loneliness That Suffocates

"Christopher..." Grace Gordon greeted Christopher as she carried out a plate.

Christopher quickly stood up before sitting and smiled at Grace, "Miss Grace..."

"Auntie Windy, Christopher is here... Let's all have dinner together, you've made so much..." Grace said.

Auntie Windy waved her hand repeatedly, "No, no... It's all prepared, you guys help yourselves... I'll leave the dishes to wash for tomorrow when I come."

As Auntie Windy untied her apron, she told Grace, "Now that you're all back, I can go home. I wouldn't be at ease if Ian was alone at home."

"Miss Grace, don't bother keeping us..." Christopher smiled at Grace, "My mom must be missing home. She loves home so much, and my aunt and them have already gone too. They must have already finished cooking and are waiting for us by now! I was originally waiting to send the Secretary of State back, but Mr. Secretary of State insisted on letting me come back to pick up my mother because he knew my family was waiting."
