Chapter 81: Come Over

Before... he used to just wipe himself dry after taking a bath and go to sleep, a habit he picked up from Charlie Morgan.

Grace Gordon apparently didn't notice that her actions had stirred some feelings within Wilbert Morgan. He turned his head to look at Grace, who was mopping the bathroom floor, and suddenly spoke, "Actually..."

Grace looked back at Wilbert, seeing his long eyelashes cast a shadow over his beautiful, dazzling eyes. His hands in his pockets, he continued, "About your divorce with your husband, I'm really sorry. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have gotten divorced."

Wilbert had always blamed himself for this.

Grace's heart softened. She wanted to tell Wilbert that the divorce from Lewis Yale wasn't his fault, but before her words could escape her mouth, Wilbert spoke again, "If... I mean, if you want to date, don't worry about me. If... your partner has a problem with my presence, I can live at school and stay out of your life."
