Chapter 87: Any Objections?

Stanhope Brown was upstairs in the study room answering a phone call, taking a video conference. Grace Gordon and Old Madam Brown were playing chess downstairs, while Jenner Summer was mindful of the tonic she had brought for Old Madam Brown, and personally supervised its preparation in the kitchen.

As soon as Stanhope put down the phone in his hand, there was a knock on the door.

Stanhope had just finished his cigarette and was lighting another one. He tossed the lighter onto the desk and said, "Enter..."

The one who entered was Jenner Summer, carrying a bowl of tonic soup in her hand. Seeing Stanhope, she smiled and placed the soup bowl in front of him, "I've just finished preparing this... I've already sent some to grandmother and Grace. You should have some too."

"Okay... Thank you." Stanhope's eyes were full of tender smiles, but he didn't have any intention of touching the soup bowl.

Jenner Summer casually tied up her long hair with a headband, giving a lazy vibe.
