"Hello Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle, and Auntie. Hello, Brother Kent." Before Simon could speak, Liam Carrington sweetly called out, familiarly resolving the prior awkwardness.
"Liam is such a good boy," Auntie said as she pulled out two red envelopes from her pocket and handed them to Liam. "Here's a little something from Grandpa and Grandma for you, Liam."
"Uncle, Aunt, please don't do this," Simon quickly intervened, as that was not their custom.
"We should, we should. Liam is already calling us Grandpa and Grandma, isn't he? I really like this boy," Auntie said with a chuckle, her gaze occasionally sweeping toward Stella Carrington.
"Stella, it's your turn," Simon, ever so observant, noticed Auntie's glances towards Stella.
"Hello Grandpa Willow, Grandma Willow, Uncle, and Auntie," Stella Carrington greeted with apparent reluctance. But since Liam had already spoken, it seemed improper for her not to say anything.
