Elena Duncan slept until after nine before she woke up. When she did, she still felt a bit dizzy. Seeing the room full of people concerned about her, it seemed like the sky had turned completely dark. She was surprised, "Did I sleep for a long time? I'm sorry for worrying you."
At the same age of eighteen, Elena was so considerate, whereas Stella Carrington was so different. Simon Carrington couldn't quite understand why there was such a drastic difference.
"Silly girl, you nearly scared Mom to death. It's my fault, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Daisy Willow said, rushing over and embracing her precious daughter as Elena apologized to everyone.
It was her approach to education that had caused the problem, always making Elena give way to Stella, allowing Stella to climb over their heads and bully her own Elena.
She was the one who should be saying sorry; she didn't deserve to be a mother, for what kind of mother constantly forces her own daughter to yield.
