The Funeral

Johny didn't care about these words.

When it was the second half of the night, no guests were in the hall. Zara and Henry were both tired. The servants came to persuade them to eat something, so they followed the suggestion and quickly went to rest.

Zara and Henry were having a meal in the lounge.

"Isn't this meal a bit too simple? There isn't even any meat!" Henry dug in his bowl and threw the chopsticks away.

"Henry, don't forget that your father has just passed away. It is already good that we have food to eat. How can there be meat in the food cooked at this time? Eat more now. You are exhausted these days. When the funeral is over, you can eat something good."

Zara picked up his chopsticks and handed them to Henry as she ate.

Henry frowned as he picked up the chopsticks. He had to continue eating.

"Mom, you are too careful. There is no one here now. We can ask the chief to secretly cook something for us. It's not a big deal."
