Desired Curse

I got back to Bai QingQing and Zhang Jie after getting the book. "We can go now."


They nodded and together, we made it past the long rows of steps. Greeting fellow disciples has become a thing after showing up in Yao mountain, despite everyone getting ready to challenge the other, we were told during the meeting that not every challenge must start with a war and I totally agree with that.


We made it to the outside and met Chun Hua along the way, holding a basket of fresh picked herbs as she got them arranged, obviously ready to go somewhere.


"Chun Hua." I called and she turned to meet my gaze, her serious gaze softened the moment she realized I was the one who called.


She hurried up to me with her basket of herbs, clearly surprised to see us outside. "Today's the event, where are you going?"


She turned her warm gaze to Bai QingQing and Zhang Jie.


They smiled in response before turning her attention to me, waiting for my reply.
