We showed up at the peach tree where I last met her and to my quick disappointment, she wasn't there like I hoped she would.

The colors of the peach petals had turned coral due to the rainy season.

"She's not here." The bring down in my tone was one I didn't resist hiding, I really needed to return the book back but she's not here. I can't just drop it and walk away…

"Are you sure this is the exact place?" Bai QingQing asked for confirmation and I nodded.

"Yes, this is the exact place." The same peach tree where Qui Shan and I stood, I couldn't forget it.

"Well, she's not here." Chun Hua's blatant tone was one that meant; 'we can all see for ourselves.'

"Do you plan on waiting or should we head back?" Zhangjie asked and I shook my head in response. I don't think I'll be able to wait, at least not today. I have to get ready for the sword event and it's almost time.
