I tried not to let out a gasp as I covered my mouth with my palm, she knows??

"You two can't be together, you know that." She spoke clearly like she was reminding him of something.

Qui Shan turned to look at her, not a single trace of hesitation in those eyes.

My eyes goggled alarmingly seeing him head towards the gate.

"He's coming, we have to go now!" I whispered only to turn and realize Zhou Xian was gone and my mouth hung agape.

I equally ran from the gate before I got caught and headed to the courtyard, Zhou Xian was sitting at the tea table and a wicked grin crossed his lips at my angry presence.

I removed my shoe wanting to stone him with it when a deep magnetic voice spoke behind me.

I froze midair as the familiar thump in my heart made me know who was standing there.
