Striding across the hallway, Qui Shan seemed to be more engrossed by the structure of the dungeon, he felt the walls with his fingers and his brows knitted into a slight frown.
"I know it's difficult for you," I finally spoke up after a deep silence. "Staying in a place that's being surrounded with such dark energy, but you'll be free to leave tomorrow."
I tried to brighten up the mood after saying that, he should feel some relief at least but I hadn't expected him to ask me something as;
"What about you? Can you bear it?"
He threw the question at me and I had to stare deeply at him before fully registering his words in my head, can I bear it? I've bear it for a hundred years, it's something one is bound to get accustomed to once time passes.
