I took a deep breath seeing his stick hasn't hit the ground yet and I didn't fail to catch the smirk on his face at my quick presence, to be honest, I really wasn't any different from a puppet cause Lu Kan controlled everything surrounding me and me in particular

"Come here." He ordered in a commanding tone, I could only lower my gaze and do exactly like he said, making my way towards him with my hands grabbing anxiously to my dress, in an attempt to stop myself from shaking.

I made my way towards him, did he figure out already that I brought someone over? Am I going to get punished?? I refused to show any hesitation despite the ideas rampaging my mind and soon after, I was standing before him.

We stood under the plum tree in the courtyard and I bit on my lower lip to stop them from trembling. I'm in front of him but why isn't he saying anything??
