October 31 Part4

The little girl with a pale face grabbed Alice's hand and led her into a place.

"Clara, where are you taking me, honey?" asked Alice

The girl didn't answer with a word, Alice started to get goosebumps, the tiny hand that was guiding her was really cold.

But she had to treat her curiosity.

Then the girl's feet stopped right at a door, leading to the basement.

"What room is this?" Alice looked very confused.

The girl looked at Alice meaningfully as if to invite Alice to open the door.

Alice slowly opened the door, and a different air greeted her again.

Looking doubtful Alice stepped back.

For a moment she stopped while looking at Clara who had walked first.

Clara looked back at Alice as if hinting that she wanted Alice to come over to her immediately.

Surprisingly not a single sentence came out of Clara's mouth.

She stretched out her hand as if to tell Alice to follow her.

"Alice, come on, don't be afraid, you'll get through it. Remove your fears... and let's cure-all your curiosity," Alice monologued to reassure herself.

Alice continued on her way.

And she came down the stairs, it was so dark, Sea had lied to her.

There was no party in this dungeon, not even the lights were turned on.

To be honest, Alice also had a strange feelings towards Clara. She wasn't the cheerful girl Sea said she was, not even Clara said a word to her.

She's not like a normal girl, Alice is even more curious when she goes down the stairs she grabs Clara's hand. And she wanted to ask her something.

"Clara! Tell me the truth, what's the matter with you?" Alice asked.

Clara still didn't answer, her eyes looked sad, and a gloomy expression shone on the girl's face.

Alice was impatiently waiting for a sentence to come out of Clara's lips, but the girl pushed Alice's body to the ground. Clara ran and disappeared into the darkness of the night.

"Clara! Clara! Where are you?!" cried Alice.

"Don't be afraid, honey! Aunty, not a bad person! If you're in trouble just say so! I'll help you!" said Alice.

"Clara! Clara!" Alice kept calling out to her.

But Clara didn't answer, dunno where she was going.

Alice felt trapped in that dark room.

She walked sideways like a spider.

Fingering in along the side of the wall, to find a light switch.

Alice was sure there must be a light source here, as she had seen Sea several times in and out of this room, which meant that there had to be a light source to make it easier for her when she was in this room.

Until she reached the corner of the wall, and she found a light switch.

"Yes! Finally, it worked!" Alice looked happy, she pressed the button, and in an instant, the light lit up, everything inside is the show.

Dried bodies lined up on the sofa. And that room was decorated lively, no less interesting than the decorations in the living room. It's like there is a party in this room, even here there is also a dining table with the same dishes as in the upstairs room.

Alice was completely shocked, she approached the corpses to take a closer look.

She was still curious about what was in front of her, she still hesitated to say this was a corpse. Even she still thought that these things were statues.

Alice approached the corpse of the little girl, whose stature, clothes, and hairstyle, closely resembled Clara's.

"No way, Cla—" Her sentence was cut off when she saw Livy Jones' body.

"What's the matter, Livy?" Alice looked at her intently, "Are these statues corpses?"

Then Alice heard gasping for breath, like the sound of someone on the verge of death.

Alice looked for where the voice was.

And her eyes seemed to pop out of her head when she saw Archer sitting under the sofa.

His hands were handcuffed, and his legs were shackled. And the man leaned against the wall, Archer half conscious, half not, Alice barely realized it was Archer, because of the many wounds that adorned his body.

Blood splattered, some even dried up.

"Geez! What are you, Archer!" Alice approached him, and she tried to resuscitate Archer.

"Archers! Archers! Wake up, Archers!" Alice patted the man's face.

"Are you all right? Archer! Wake up! It's me, Alice!"

Archer opened his eyes with difficulty, he looked closely at Alice, then smiled slightly.

"Alice... you... Alice?" the man asked in a weak voice, and occasionally he stopped speaking as he was still trying to catch his breath.

"Yes, that's right! I am, Alice! Let's hold on, Archer! I'll save you!" said Alice excitedly.

Alice immediately grabbed her cell phone, to call Felix.

"Ah, wait a minute! I have to call my friend, so he can help us!" said Alice.

But Archer was trying to stop her. Since Archer felt it was useless even if Alice contacted her friend, that can't change reality. Maybe his life won't last long.

"Alice...." Archer called, with shaking hands and still wrapped in handcuffs, Archer reached for Alice's cell phone, he wanted Alice to hear his last words.

"Archer, I have to call—"

"Alice, listen to me...."

"Well, what do you want to say, Archer?"

"I'm sorry...." he said.

"Yeah, I've forgiven you, what else do you want to say, Archer?"

"Alice ... I want you to look after Bella, Diana, and Daniel, I 'uhuk!' please help me ...."

"Yes! Yes! I will take care of them! But please endure! I will save you, Archer!" said Alice.

"One more... Alice...."

"Yeah, what? Just say it, Archer!"

"Say my apologies to, Bel...Bella...."

After that Archer's eyes closed. And he didn't move anymore.

"Archers...?" Alice moved Archer's body roughly.

"Archer! Archer! Wake up, Archer!" Alice screamed hysterically.

"If you die, how am I going to talk to Bella! She's going to be sad, Archer!" Alice was so frustrated.

"Archer! Don't die, Archer! Don't you think about Diana and Daniel?! They're going to be orphans, Archer!"

"Oh no!"

"Archers...!" Alice finally resigned herself to accepting the situation that Archer had died.

Any screams would be useless, she couldn't possibly wake Archer up.

Alice had no idea that Archer would die in such a tragic way. Even though she hated Archer so much, she didn't want Archer to die. She felt sorry for Bella and her children.

"Ah, Felix! Well, Felix! I have to call Felix right now!" Alice reached for her cell phone.

Drtt...

"Come on, Felix! Please...!" Alice cried with a panicked face.

Not long after, the phone call was connected.

"Hello, Felix! Come pick me up at home, Sea! Hurry up!" Alice ordered.

[Alice, are you all right!] Felix asked.

"Enough, don't ask too many questions! Come on over here, Felix!"
