Clara's Arrival

Diana and Daniel have now arrived in front of their house.

Bella walked over to her two children.

"Where are you guys from?" she asked.

"We're from Uncle Felix's house, Mom," Daniel answered.

"Oh yeah, Di! Your friend Megan was looking for you here," Bella said.

Diana snorted in annoyance, she had guessed that, and she also felt lucky to have left this house before Megan came.

"Why are you avoiding her?" Bella asked, holding her daughter's shoulder.

"Mom, I don't want to remember Halloween, that's why I avoid my friends," Diana replied. Bella took a deep breath as she stroked her daughter's hair.

Diana kept her promise, she was able to distinguish between right and wrong.

She's even willing to forget her favorite show just to avoid Clara's ghost.

Bella felt relieved and proud, at least Diana would listen to what she had to say.

"Whatever you do, Mom always supports you, Di," Bella said, smiling encouragingly at her daughter.

Diana also nodded with a smile too.

Right now Bella is her encouragement. So did the rest of her family.

"Di! Come on quickly!" said Daniel. The scream made Diana and Bella flinch.

"Where are you guys going again?" Bella asked, "You guys just came, didn't you?"

"We are going to Uncle Arnold's house, Mom!" answered Diana. Then they left the house again and went to Arnold's house which was just next door to theirs.

Upon arrival. Diana began to consult.

"What do you want to say, Di?" asked Arnold.

"Uncle, she's coming again," said Diana.

"You mean, Clara?" asked Arnold for sure. Diana nodded her head.

"Yes, Uncle. Right," answered Diana.

Daniel was also shocked to hear that. Because Diana didn't tell to Daniel. She only told Bella and Alice. Only now did she tell Arnold until Daniel heard her.

'So this is what's been making Diana look weird lately? So because of the ghost of the little girl?' Daniel thought.

Suddenly he felt guilty towards Diana. He had blamed and even scolded Diana for his strange behavior, even though Diana was currently in trouble.

Daniel regretted it. As a much older sibling than Diana, he should be able to protect his sister and make Diana feel comfortable. Not instead of scolding or even playing pranks on her.

'Oh, God. I hope Diana doesn't become the Strange Girl again like she used to be,' Daniel said in his mind.

"How about it, Uncle? Can you help me?" Diana asked again.

Arnold nodded his head.

"Well, I can help you," replied Arnold.

"Then what is Uncle's plan, next?"

"Keep seeing her, if she wants to see you," Arnold replied.

"But, what if she—" Arnold cut Diana's word.

"That's exactly what we're looking for, make her feel close and comfortable to you again. Then show your next rude attitude," said Arnold.

Diana did not understand what Arnold meant.

But patiently Arnold explained everything to Diana.

That Clara approached Diana because she felt comfortable with Diana.

In Clara's eyes, Diana is a friend who always loves her.

Maybe if Diana changed her good attitude towards Clara into a bad person, then Clara would feel uncomfortable again.

After all, now that Diana is also an adult, she is no longer as innocent as she used to be.

All Diana had to do was convince Clara that she wasn't the Diana she used to be so she started to walk away on her own.

At least that's what Arnold had in mind.

And Diana also agreed to Arnold's plan. Now Diana is going home quietly with Daniel.

***

Night had fallen, and Diana was in the room alone.

Tonight, to be precise is Halloween night.

She had avoided this night, even to the point of skipping school so no one would mention Halloween.

Even so, Diana has even decorated her room with all kinds of Halloween trinkets.

She doesn't celebrate Halloween at school, but she does celebrate Halloween in her room.

She did this not without reason. But because she purposely lures Clara to come to see her.

After everything was neatly arranged, Diana put on makeup and changed into Clara's favorite fairy costume.

After that Diana sat down at her study table. She opened the drawer and looked back at the pile of papers that contained a picture of a little girl.

"Clara, come on, I know you like it, right?" said Diana sarcastically.

"Come on, you know I've prepared a party for you?"

But Clara didn't show up either.

"Ah ... well, maybe I'll celebrate alone," Diana put down the sheet of paper again.

She snorted in annoyance and then re-opened the one-by-one costumes.

"It's useless, I prepared all this, if you don't come. I'm lonely," said Diana with a disappointed look. Of course, just acting

"Why is it open?" a little girl's voice spoke to her.

Diana smiled faintly, and slowly she looked up.

"Finally you came too," said Diana with a smile.

Yes ... Clara came, and now the girl was in front of Diana.

Hearing the voice of her childhood friend, Diana smiled slyly.

"You're finally here," said Diana.

"Yeah, I'm coming. It's about time I came back," said Clara.

"Clara, can we talk for a minute?" Diana asked.

"Of course, I miss times like this," Clara replied.

"Okay, I want to ask you," Diana said.

"What do you want to ask?" Clara looked curious.

"Are you sure you still want to be my friend?" Diana's eyes were sharp.

"Of course!" answered Clara firmly.

"Then come with me tonight. We'll watch a movie together," said Diana.

Then the girl started turning on the television. She deliberately played a film with the theme of child abuse.

Diana knows that Clara has her trauma with violence, even though she often acts rudely to humans, but she is just a soft-hearted child.

In the scene in the next minute, Clara starts to feel uncomfortable.

"Diana, why are you even showing me a movie like this? You know, I hate violence, especially violence against children!" Clara protested.

She hated it because she remembered her childhood which was often abused by her mother.

Clara knew that in the past Sea did not do it on purpose, but because Sea wanted to protect Clara, just in a different way.

Although Sea is very scary, Diana still tries to be an obedient child in front of her mother.

She can feel Sea's love, although sometimes the way she expresses her affection, Sea is often rude and makes Clara hurt.

"Diana, how about we stop watching movies, we just draw. I miss when you paint my face," Clara said.

"Oh, I see? Ah well ..." Diana turned off the television. Then she started to prepare pencils and paper.

"You just shut up, I'll draw your face," Diana said.

Clara nodded in resignation.
