Synopsis
Tales and Shadows is a collection of short stories and ruminations, most of which deal with supernatural or strange events carrying an undercurrent of horror. A recurring theme throughout the stories is the conflict of gods against man and the psychology of otherworldly beings trying to understand their place in the universe.

We're only one story in and the Tales and Shadows collection is already one of the most expertly crafted story on the platform. There's a Preface which quotes Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, and that alone, sold me on the kind of story this was going to be. It feels like it was written by a professional author which a team of editors. I just wish more people wouldd read this story. I haven't been able to contact the author, but I really want to see what kind of stories will be published in this universe. According to the synopsis, the stories could be connected in one way or another and given the type of world that was introuced, I can't wait to meet the next character or god introduced. I'm not 100% sure the author will be as consistent as I would like, given that they released two chapters in one day. They might burn out really quick, but the first chapter wasn't really even a chapter, so we'll see how he responds. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST WRITTEN STORIES IN THE PLATFORM RIGHT NOW!![img=recommend]
