Chapter 11 From the start

As Joon-Woo turned around he couldn't believe it. "Oh...! hey...!", the other guy said. 'What... The hell?' The guy continued. "I'm looking for someone..." 'This person... Is the stalker...?' - "So I ended up following you."

"Sorry, but do you know a girl named Seung Ah?" He looked like a completely normal person. He had black, curly hair which was parted in the middle, wore glasses and had a good face structure. He wore a black crewneck paired with a brown jacket making him look a little older, like he went to university or something. "Oh, I'm a close friend of Seung Ah, haha. I go to the grad school next door", he quickly added.

'He looks like a totally normal person! I'm speechless... He looks so different from what I had in mind.' Joon-Woo stood there dumb founded. "You don't need to be suspicious. She and I are close, haha", he tried to convince Joon-Woo. '...Liar', he thought. He immediately confronted him. "You guys talked on Random Chat, right?"

'What I learned from Random Chat is...'

"As far as I know Seung Ah doesn't know anyone from grad school. Who are you?"

'... That you can never trust someone.'

The guy stopped for a second. ' "Maybe this guy isn't the stalker" ', was what Joon-Woo ironically thought. "Ah, really? You are Seung Ah's friend? You're not her boyfriend, right? From what I know Seung Ah doesn't have a boyfriend... I think there must've been a misunderstanding--" "You keep texting her even though she made all her social media accounts private", Joon-Woo interruped his stupid speech of excuses. "You found out her home address and sent her pictures of where she lives. I know all about how you stalked her." His gaze was cold.

'But he's too obvious. He's just a sick stalker.'

"I wish you'd stop that kind of behavior."

'That's your ugliness from someone else's view. How does it feel... To hear it for yourself...?'

"Haha", the stalker laughed it off. "So you already know everything. So embarrassing. How did you know all this? Are you good friends with Seung Ah?" He fixed his glasses. "Listen, I don't want you to get it all wrong." He put up a smile. "What behavior?" He then glared at Joon-Woo. "I just like her, that's all."

Joon-Woo made a sour face.

"But who are you? Are you her boyfriend or something?" He stared at Joon-Woo with the intent to kill. 'I knew it...'

"No... The reason I know is because...'

'If it comes to that...'

Joon-Woo touched the back of his head and slightly looked on the ground. "I'm Seung Ah. I'm sorry. I pretended to be a girl. Sorry, I was just messing with you."

'This is the only way...'

"I'm... Really sorry. Please stop texting me." He bowed to apologize.

'If I want to end this right now...'

"You kept texting me... So I lured you here to apologize in person."

... This is what I have to do.' He was sure this was the right thing to do.

"I won't indulge in such petty games from now on..." Joon-Woo thought this was embarrassing.

"Seung Ah? What is it? Is something wrong?" Dae Hyun seemed surprised of her sudden behavior. Seung Ah on the other hand was super nervous. "Uh, wait I... What was it that I wanted to say?"

'What do I do now? Now that he's standing in front of me, I'm too embarrassed to tell him! Will Dae Hyun be able to help? Won't he think I'm a freak..?' She remembered Joon-Woo's texts from Random Chat. 'Meet him and do what?'

"Aren't you getting your tickets?" Ha Min then asked. "What are you doing there?"

"Oh! Sorry, Ha Min!" Dae Hyun spoke on their behalf. "We'll be there soon! You go on first!"

His attention went back to Seung Ah's. "Ah, good. Finally, it's just the two of us. Seung Ah. Is something bothering you? It's very obvious, you know? Don't feel too pressured. I won't ask you to trust me, but I really mean it when I say I want to help." He put his hand onto his chest to express his honesty. 'Like I said before, I'm pretty quick-witted.'

"I'm sorry if I offended you. I just couldn't ignore it." Seung Ah started crying. "Dae Hyun..." she muffled. "It's okay. Take your time." - "I... Actually... do something called Random Chat... I think I'm being stalked by someone I met through it!" She finally said it.

Meanwhile, the guy burst out laughing at Joon-Woo's made up story. "Oh, kekeke. So that's it... It was a joke, kekeke. Wow, I completely fell for it."

'He's just laughing about it...?'

"Wow. I'm at a loss for words."

'He's calmer than I thought he'd be...'

He continued his apology speech. "I know apologizing isn't enough, but..."

'Ok, let's hurry and apologize as sincerely as possible.'

"I'm sorry that..."

"I toyed with you."

When he finally stopped looking at the ground he was up for a surprise. Before he could even react he was punched in the face so hard it knocked him back. 'He hit me? Is he crazy?'

"You fucking bastard. Who are you trying to trick? You think I didn't even speak to Seung Ah? Don't fuck around. Bring her here."

'Right, it's because of the cellphone number!'

The stalker had a red glow to his eyes too. "Unless you want to die." When Joon-Woo heard these words he had to think about Tae Yang. 'He's terrifying. It's just like always.'

"You're not talking? Fucking kids these days ain't scared of shit." While approaching Joon-Woo he talked trash about him. Joon-Woo though was still in his thoughts. 'I get scared all the time and I just do nothing about it.'

"I can tell you're a fucking loser."

'But... Seung Ah's fighting too so I can't just give up.' Joon-Woo put up his act again. "Ok! But I don't have Seung Ah's number!! I just came here on someone's orders! I'd need her number if I wanted to call her here!" Though it was true he didn't have Seung Ah's number.

The guy took out his phone with an emotionless face. "Well, since she blocked me, I'll give you her number. Call her out here. Don't tell her I'm there." - 'Now's my chance!' Joon-Woo dashed forward the moment he saw this opening, trying to reach for his phone. 'Catching...'

He ripped it out of the guy's hands. '... Is what I'm good at!' Joon-Woo took a good swing. "What are you doing?!" the stalker shouted as the phone flew onto the ground, cracking. Without even wasting a second Joon-Woo took a brick and lunged it at the phone, breaking it entirely.

"What the?! You fucking asshole!" he screamed, having a pained expression. Joon-Woo still didn't get up. "You didn't memorize her number yet?"

'You were able to stalk her because you found all her information through her cell phone number. And usernames.'

He slowly got up again, 'Seung Ah already blocked you from everything so there's nothing you can do without her number.'

"Now..." - Being startled the stalker looked at him like he just got everything taken away from him. 'You planned this all along...' he thought

Joon-Woo looked him in the eye. "Guess you can't call her now!"
