The large white tiger patrolled the violet forest early in the morning. It wakes up at dawn and drinks from the little falls beside its home. The tiger treaded down the grassy paths and sharply eyed each directions of the trees, scanning if there are trespassers or humans deep inside the fairy territory. As it passes by other patrolling tigers, they greet each other by nodding gently, then resumes their guarding on other areas.
A certain whistle call caught the graceful tiger's attention, it was his master's whistle, a sign that he is summoning her. Automatically, she turned her head and began pacing quickly with her four limbs, running off to his master's direction.
"Raja!" Called Estes to his adorable gigantic pet which came by pacing attentively to her white haired master.
"My cat, Raja, lovely isn't she!" Estes flashed his iconic wide smile with flowers blooming on the background as he ruffled the soft fur on the tiger's neck, seeming to really enjoy its softness as Raja purrs lowly.
'Cat?...' blinked Shu, melting down from the cat's large size.
The owner leaned to his four feet tiger's head and looked like he was listening to her. "Huh? Mm!"
Literally utterly confused, Shu makes a face: "?"
"She says she likes you!" Estes tiptoed to Shu and grabbed his waist, Shu then immediately reacted '?!—' as Estes lifted and threw him on the back of his white-furred tiger, his four limbs locked around the tiger's body automatically.
Shu sharply gasps from the pain of sudden movements of his wound.
Estes would laugh loudly as he motions Raja to carry Shu while following him. The wind was cold and refreshing in the break of dawn where fog was still present around the fairy land, Estes would tiptoe wearing white flowing clothes that Shu sometimes regard him as a fleeting image of a ghost, minding his long white hair being added to the picture.
As they walk along the beautiful paths of violet trees with nothing but the sound of singing birds and crumpled leaves, Estes asks: "Brother Uuu, do you know about fairies?"
Shu clinging at the back of the lion bobbed his head up and looked at the back of Estes' head.
"I was held Prince of this land, because of my extraordinary ability to be one with all living beings." Estes says while Shu listened, his curiosity perked.
"That said, i can do various of things, like—"
"Generating them," Shu watches Estes gracefully move both of his arms up while red grasses grow from under his feet and spreads in all directions. Shu blinked hard, and stared at the ground from the tiger's back. He reached down his hand while still clinging at the white furred tiger while it was walking steadily, curious if what he sees is true. Shu's fingertips met the glossy red grasses slip from his palm. As much as he wants to ask and show his discomposure of the unbelievable sight, he can only make his eyes sparkle and pull back his hand back to the tiger's fur to grab on.
From the ground, different kinds of flowers bloomed with all sorts of colors and shapes, some flowers have gradient and fading characteristics, and others bloomed with other shapes and textures. The path was colored differently unlike any other mountain paths, it was so vibrant and dreamy, just like colors of a painting was spilled and was applied to this reality, or was it a fantasy really?
As Shu shifted up his eyes and and saw Estes' floating figure, along with the changing colors of the trees leaves and blooming of pink flowers. All he could think is; everything in that very place was a scene so divine and heavenly, even being with him was something unbelievable.
Then Estes looked back to Shu, raising his hand; "I can also talk to them!" When he said this, animals flooded where Estes was and followed him to bow their heads, all sorts of birds were flying around the air too and baby cheetah cubs ran around his feet happily, then greeted to the towed Shu at the back of the white tiger, surprising him with the sudden politeness act of wild beings to him.
Estes waved at them and they all gave their jolliest cheers, a scene full of sparkles and joy, making the proud Raja and Shu's eyes dilate.
"Or the art of resucitation, a power that allows me to give life. That said i can also make them grow in an instant and make them bloom, flourish at their zenith -" Estes stopped at his words, feeling a bit hesitant to say more about his powers and Shu senses it from his voice, even when his back is facing him.
Estes continues, "But this power requires a huge amount of effort and energy, and using it has a lot of drawback to me." He explained again, Shu listening intently.
"So much that I died."
'?!' The mentioned word alerted Shu immediately and he looked at Estes with panic, nearly hyperventilating from the trauma of the concept of 'death'.
"The Prince, who blesses the dead land, prospers." He mumbles to the wind then turns to face Raja and Shu, as he smiles with his teeth. "I wonder how the hues of my trees appears from their eyes."
Estes laughed along the hills while the grasses kept changing their colors when Estes comes by, Shu at the back of the tiger stared on the back of the running boy's head and thought; 'Wanting to die beside them must be a heavenly blessing.' Shu looked at his pretty smile. 'How i wanted to tell you that.'
The sun slowly reached the sky and peeked from the soft clouds, as a brand new day for the two begins. Estes occasionally runs around with Raja's eyes being tired of her master already, she just kept walking where Estes' feet were heading, while Shu just kept admiring the spectacular nature around him and time by time just staring at the dreamy boy.
Again, they went down another hill, but this time Shu was a bit familiar to it, it was a hill filled with white and beautiful shiny stones with different kind of sizes. Some are small, few were very tall, and others were average, Shu's eyes twinkled as they find them very beautiful, whether he was hallucinating or not he saw a small blue orb giggling happily behind one of the stones and danced with the birds, his soft hidden smile was caught by Estes.
The sun rays lit up the ground of the forest both the tiger and Estes was walking in, this time, Shu could see the beautiful forest even better unlike from the events last night with fireflies and the moon being the only light. But as how he expected it, it was the land of fantasies, the trees smelled like honey and the air was light and very likeable in one's lungs, and everywhere you look would be so interesting and unique.
Nearing an open space outside the lines of trees, Shu hears a familiar sound of the subtle flowing waters. As soon as the tiger had stepped outside the violet forest, a bright and sparkling clear lake was seen in front of them.
"Thank you Raja, you can put him down now." Estes smiled when Raja nodded and bent down her legs, allowing Shu to finally get off. Shu's palm left the white fur and stood with both his feet, wincing slightly as he bowed his head as thanks to the tiger that wagged her tail in reply.
Estes held Shu to support him and waved at Raja. "Tell your father my greetings! Have a lovely day!" Estes spoke in a happy tone but in a different language that Shu doesn't know.
"Ah! I forgot the basket!" This time Shu understood this phrase, but it also confused him at the same time, what basket?
Estes whistled again, this time, it was a very long call, that when the called creature arrived, it was so sudden and fast, Shu almost dropped his heart. Estes brightened up again and spoke to a fully grown cheetah, "Hello Mino!" Greeted him while Mino the yellow cheetah purred and went around Estes.
Estes would switch on a different soft spoken language and engage in a confusing conversation with the cheetah. "Can you help me get my belongings back from my tent? Yes? Thank you so much!" He patted the yellow cat that immediately zoomed away from their sight.
'What is that language?' as much as Shu wanted to ask, he could only thought inside his head.
Estes tiptoed to Shu, "I use an ancient language originally used by the fairies as their mother tongue, it seems the animals here understand it as well." Despite being unable to talk, Estes still answered the lingering questions inside Shu's head. Fascinated to see Shu's confused face, proud at himself that he can just predict what Shu's unchanging face says.
'Fairies? Are they something that I can't see because I'm human?' thought Shu as Estes zoomed beside him, watching the quiet lake filled with white floating lotus flowers.
'What are you, really?'
"This is my spot where i usually take baths, the water is very clean and sweet too." He said, touching the cold water of the clear lake. He looked back to Shu, "This is a lake of nascency. A lake of origin where the creator first made the first fairy, elder Faehel."
"?" Shu tilted his head.
"His name was passed down to all fairies as our second name, thus, making my second name Faehel too." Shu nodded, he understood the basic somehow.
Estes took off Shu's temporary sandals and tiptoed away, going to the lake up to his knees. "New born fairies are blessed their name here at this very lake, or sometimes, the elders bath here to be renewed, to be rebirth." Explained Estes, then raised his hand slowly, from faint to strong tremors, Shu looked around in panic, alerted as he moved forward to get Estes, who in surprise was..
Smiling?
Shu blinked and knitted his brows, dropping his jaw when a tree plucked its root from the ground and whipped its golden roots in the air, wrapping it around a boulder just like it was alive and uses its roots as its hand. In the moment Shu knew it, the boulder was being lifted towards Estes, who in his frailness could die when hit with it.
But Estes wasn't your typical human, he was a being so out of this world that is almost impossible to describe what he actually is. With the calmness of the motions of his hand on the wind, like stirring, the boulder was quietly dipped down the lake.
Shu sighed, looks like everything's fine.
Mino the cheetah jumped out of nowhere, clearly tired. "Ah! Mino! You're back! Thank you~" Estes' eyes curved in crescents, smiling fully, but then he stopped, noticing the cheetah was not carrying a basket.
But Zilo was.
Zilo is the largest cheetah around the fairy's land, more like, the big boss, the chief, anything to call those at the top. Zilo's built was entirely opposite from Mino, even though sharing the same age, Mino is just way smaller than Zilo who has twice much more built than the smaller cheetah.
In it's mouth, Zilo's big fangs carries the handle of the basket that he placed near the lake, not trying to step its paws on the water to even bother delivering it to Estes. "Thanks for the help Zilo!" Mino said and wagged his tail, teasing the larger cheetah to fall back near the water. "A cheetah shouldn't wag its tail so easily, have more image will you?" Zilo growled, walking back the forest while he rolled his eyes.
"Come on, you like it when Prince Estes praises you." Mino died in laughter, snickering his words behind Zilo.
"Thank you for bringing the basket Zilo! You're a very strong cheetah!" Estes yelled in a loud foreign language with a jolly tone present in his voice, so Shu didn't worry even though he doesn't understand their conversation. He just thinks it was a word gratitude for bringing the basket.
Hearing the praise, Zilo wagged his tail even though his face says the opposite, Mino snickered crazily, "See?" Mino looked at his friend's face and expression.
"SHUT UP!" Roared the larger cheetah, while Mino, unfazed, just clicked his tongue, mumbling; "Stingy." as they went away to patrol again.
Estes' feet rustled against the water, picking the big basket with unknown things inside it then going back to the boulder to place the basket on top of it then looks at Shu who's awkwardly standing afar.
"Come here." Called out Estes while waving his hand to his direction, Shu nodded and walked stiffly to Estes, feeling the cold water crawl to his ankles up to his knees.
He shivered in coldness and rubbed his arms up and down, trying to rid of the goosebumps of his skin. 'so hard to breathe..' he shook, noticing the bandage on his chest he didn't know when was tied around him. He huffed his breath and carefully walked over where Estes was, trying not to slip from the glowing stones under the lake.
Estes knew that Shu's bare feet are hurting from the countless of eye squints he make from every steps he takes closer to him. Estes quickly took off his white robes to not wet them further and placed it on top of the smooth boulder, heading to Shu to support him to reach the boulder.
"Come on sit, I'll clean you up." Said Estes while Shu obeyed and sat on the boulder, feeling his body in waves of pain whenever he moves or even breathes.
Estes pulled Shu's wrist and tapped the bandage's knot in order to wash the wound. "I'll take them off now." Asked Estes to Shu and nodded as his permission to do so.
Both the wrist bandages were pulled off carefully and placed away just beside Estes' robes. Next, Estes' grasp made its way to Shu's chest, untying the knot and slowly removing the thick bandage around Shu. After doing so, he tucked away the bloody bandage and placed it with the rest to be washed by Estes himself.
Estes' went further deeper in the lake after saying he'll just wash the bandages quickly in a far area to not stain the clear water around Shu's. Looking up the sky, he shivers from the cold wind and looked at Estes again, noticing Estes' bare back was just as white as his hair, amused at how focused he looks on washing off the blood on the white bandages.
As how badly he wants to tell Estes that a stained cloth will not be white again, he just sighs when he sees his determined face, trying to relax on the boulder while waiting till he gets done with his task.
Estes went back with a frown, as impossible it was, the blood stains were still evident on the fabric. Shu's chuckled lowly inside his head and patted Estes' head, in way of saying, 'It's okay, don't frown now.'
Estes looked at Shu and nodded, laying the bandage to dry on the boulder then continued his way to undress Shu on his bottom, pulling down his pants and leaving Shu's body completely bare after a few minutes with no clothes on.
Shu's remaining clothes was placed inside the basket, he just looked down and played with the clear water, kicking it to Estes' white pants. 'cold.' Was the only word Shu could commentate for now, a body without any clothing in an isolated and untouched lake early in the morning, the situation is indeed very worth freezing for.
Estes looked at Shu's body and thought: 'so thin! but he has long limbs, if i feed him well, his weight will be normal again.' he eyes were determined, 'Okay Estes! Let's feed him a lot of flowers!'
Then Estes noticed the slight flushing of Shu's nose and immediately checked his temperature on his forehead. 'He's burning, did he caught sickness from the wound afterall?' he frowned and wanted to finish bathing Shu shortly, he might even catch a cold if he didn't hurry.
The topless Prince rummaged the basket and gave Shu a leaf. "Here, chew this, its mint." The ash haired boy blinked, and nodded, taking the leaf inside his mouth and munched on it, tasting a bitter yet cool leaf with strong refreshing sensation coming out of his nose and mouth.
"Spit." Estes ordered that Shu naturally followed, spitting the green leaf on Estes' extended palm now soaked with saliva, it ended up making Shu feel bad about it.
The white haired boy offered his arms for Shu to jump on and said: "Come here, let's wash off the dirt now." Shu nodded, getting off the boulder and sought Estes' arms for support, carefully setting his feet down and sharply inhales from the coldness of the water that travelled up to his lower abdomen.
Shu looked closer on Estes' features, his body was unexpectedly built well, but not too muscular, despite looking thin, under the clothes were a well defined collar bones and sturdy looking shoulders, having thin waist counts too. The longer he looks, the more inhumanely beautiful the man gets. Just like his hair, his eyelashes were partly white too, his skin was glowing and he has a particular red mark on his forehead, just on top of the in-between of the eyebrows.
Estes searched for another object inside the basket that looked like a brown, plant-looking thing and gave it a squeeze, rubbing the clear slimy substance on Shu's hair that bubbled the second Estes poured water on top of Shu that made his jaw clench hardly from the coldness.
After some time, Shu felt his eyelids droopy, the sun rays focused their brightness and added a bit of warmness on the air making Shu a bit more comfortable and relaxed. The only sound he could hear was the water trickling down their bodies and the gentle scratches Estes does on his head filled with bubbles.
Shu sighs and closes his eyes as Estes rinses his head with water, noticing how Estes has sharp and long, fingernails. It was very beautiful as it has golden streaks that Shu guessed was applied by hand. He was getting more and more interested in every inch of Estes, thirsty of knowledge down to his bone.
After all, he will dedicate the rest of his life, to no one and only just for Estes.
A hand brushed his ash colored hair back to reveal his forehead, he just stared at Estes. "Oh, I can't see your eyes, i wanted to see them." Estes then rubbed his cheeks to rid the dirt from weeks of not having bath.
Honestly, Shu stank. For quite a while from his journey, as i told you, he did not took a rest from walking, not eaten, nor slept. It was even a miracle he was able to get up after a one night's rest and not pass out and bedridden in Estes' bed for days. That, everyone, note that he might be really dead that way.
Another thing got taken out of the magical basket, it was a sponge, and.. flowers?
'Is he planning to eat?' Shu forced his eyebrows together, in a complete confusion with the new flower combination.
"It can be used as body wash, very fragrant, i ensure you its safe." Estes explained to Shu who listened with both his ears, safe or not he couldn't really just care, being able to die on a very beautiful lake with Estes would be the greatest gift ever. Well, thats what Shu thinks.
He wetted the sponge and grinded the red flowers that crunched on his palm, producing a red, sticky substance on his hand. Next he did was to spread it on Shu's warm chest up to his burning neck, then rubbed his skin with the sponge in his slightest pressure, just enough to take care of the dirt and blood that covered Shu for weeks.
He cleaned Shu carefully in every nook and inch of his body, from the arms, nape, back, and legs. Estes found taking care of Shu relaxing and easy as Shu doesn't complain and was being obedient to each of his touches.
After rinsing Shu off the remaining blood and dirt, he proudly smiled, looking at Shu from head to toe and gasped at how big the difference was. 'What, he looked handsome afterall, but i do need to put a weight on him.' he thought, firing up his engine, super determined to make Shu as good as new.
"Come, let me dry you now." Estes picked up his robe and the semi-dry bandages and placed it in the bag. With a basket on his right hand, his left arm occupied Shu, supporting him to slowly to get out of the lake.
"Guh.." Shu shivered again, the wind attacked him who was fully nude. He wasn't that embarrassed to be naked, but the wind seemed to not leave his body alone, his face flushed beet red when his skin felt the creeps of coldness, shaking.
Once out of the water, Estes grabbed two dry towels and placed the other on top of Shu's head, and the other on his hand, patting Shu's body to dry him. "Actually, Uuu, i made you new clothes!" Excitedly said Estes with sparkling eyes.
Shu tilted his head, 'Clothes?'
Once Shu was fully dried, Estes wrapped the towel around his shoulders and bent down, pulling out long black robes, mixed with white fabric. "Pretty good isn't it!" Estes pushed the newly sewn clothes to Shu, which he accepted.
'For fixing..' he points at himself and looks at the the new clothes in awe. The clothes Estes made had strips of Shu's blood, so right after he finished sewing, he washed the dirty clothes and dried it right away.
"You liked it?! Good!" Estes laughed and also changed his clothes to a new and dry pair, but still, it was the same dress, amusing himself by humming happily, telling himself how happy he feels on how Shu liked his work.
With Estes' help, he put on Shu's undergarments and clothes, plus his outer layer of white clothes, then after finishing dressing the ash haired boy, he collected the wet towels and dumped it inside the strange basket.
Now sharing the same scent of clothes, let's just say that they even have matching undergarments now.
Estes only had his lower body and the tip of his white hair wet so it is just easy to dry. Shu on the other hand was fully bathed to a new, cleaner person. While Estes kept on admiring of how perfectly nice the boy looks on the clothes he made.
"Ah!" Estes exclaimed, making Shu jolt who was just peacefully rubbing his cold nose in hopes to be warmer.
Estes once again bent down and reached inside the mysterious all-having basket, then pulled out a pair of black boots with a golden sun drawn on the leather. Well, it was very dusty if you look closer, like it hasn't been used since forever.
"Let me put it on you, okay?" He crouched down and cleaned Shu's feet first, warming it with his palms then made him wear a smooth satin sock on Shu's feet to not hurt it when walking. After putting on both boots, Estes made sure that it was fastened properly up to his knee that he tapped it twice before standing up again.
Shu in the other hand felt the bottom of the boots very warm and soft, making him way too confused at how comfortable the hard boots were, different from the impression on how it looked from the outside.
Don't judge the boot from its cover?
No?
Shu's silver head hung low, his wet hair drips down as his amethyst eyes hid behind his long hair, keeping his stares at the boots in silence which Estes noticed.
The white haired boy quickly produced his panicked thoughts; 'Eh? Was he not happy with the boots? is the corners hurting his toes? Too small? Or was it too big? I was sure i put on extra cotton under the soles... Does he not like the color?—'
A warm, big hand reached for Estes's thin ones and a figure walked infront of him, Shu frowned from the sight of Estes' long fingers having red marks of needle pricks on his fingers and tapped it several times.
Never in Shu's life ever felt so cared for before. From head to toe, for someone to care for him this much..
Well, maybe he just never thought that someone will still be showing him kindness at this point of life. Parts of him felt very scared to tell Estes the truth about him and experiencing a past so painful and brutal made him feel undeserving to be under Estes' trust.
No one could ever deserve such person, and he could never repay him the same amount in any way. For now, Shu just wanted to forget the state of him and just stay beside Estes, nothing else, just to live on that very thought.
His lower lip trembled, strong feelings invading his heart. He knelt down as unnoticeable tears from his eyes dropped to the ground. He squezed the other's hand as gentle as he could and brought it up to his face, bumping Estes' red knuckles on Shu's forehead.
The white haired boy raised his eyebrows for Shu's sudden action, a gesture so pure and so tender of endless gratitude from the heart of the owed.
He was one whom cannot use words but only his actions, and even so, this was enough for Estes to know the words he wanted to convey.
After bathing, surely, Shu was already feeling the urge of meat cravings from his mouth down to his belly, the hunger from not eating in weeks was terribly consuming his strength just after he relaxed, he was feeling sleepy but also hungry that his stomach felt burning and has a unfulfilled void inside, a place where only meat can fill his stomach. Oh how he felt so tired.
"Let's go?" Estes picked up the basket and turned around to look at Shu, his long white hair dripping down while doing so.
Estes excitingly spun before going to Shu, asking; "Where do you want to go?"
Shu turned his head and pointed at the lake. 'Fish.'
Estes blinked, trying to guess: "Lake?" Shu shook his head as a no, Estes hummed and suggested again: "River?"
Shu's eyes brightened that signalled Estes right, Shu nodded so well that it was followed by Estes' reaction, a loud and interesting laugh surprised Shu. "Alright! Come on, follow me~" cheered Estes before grabbing Shu's arm, towing him beside Estes and tiptoed away towards the direction of the river with Shu beside him who enjoys roaming his eyes around in admiration of the forest that also made Estes very happy, to see someone's eyes sparkle from the sight of the forest he built with his own powers was truly rewarding.
Following Estes' enthusiastic footsteps, Shu just watched the terrain in front of them. All of the trees were grand and was blooming with pink flowers, the ground had such brown soil and the red grasses around them turns green whenever Estes' toes lands on them.
Shu's clothes was interestingly flowy and quiet that you can hear its gentle flaps against the wind, unlike Estes' dress which jingles everytime he walks, it was white, and also flashy that the threads glow whenever it was hit by the sunlight. Indeed, one's robes do describe their owner. In Estes' case, as bright as his face is, as flamboyant his clothes are too.
The white colored rocks started to crunch under Shu's new boots representing the river past his eyes. Unlike last night where the sun wasn't present and the waters glowed to evident purple, today, it was clear and had a light shade of pastel lavender at the bottom of the river.
But, Shu couldn't just find even a single fish swimming on the river, what does he do now? He's so hungry.
"Oh?! Look Uuu! This looks like the color of your eyes!" Estes picked a rock from the ground along with the white rocks and stuck his hand up to Shu's face, comparing the color to the real amethyst iris.
Shu would smile whenever Estes would laugh and do stupid things, he kept picking up rocks beside the river and held it beside Shu's eyes, then if it doesn't match, he throws the rocks away and starts to search for another rock that would match Shu's eyes perfectly.
The ash haired boy watched Estes get in the river with his hands holding up his clothes not to wet them, he chuckles inside his head as he watch Estes struggle to get the glowing rock on the river, in the end, Estes grabbed a whole lot with his right hand and exited the cold river carefully, running up to Shu after.
"Oh this one- hmm?" From the picked rocks, he held one up and checked if they matched to Shu's eye color his eyes shifting back and forth to Shu and the rock. The radiance of Estes' smile places Shu in a long blindness, hearing: "This one looks more similar to your eye!" Then Estes cheered, laughing while kicking the water in happiness, twirling round and round.
His white hair would whip the wind and its lusciousness was undeniably beautiful, colorful butterflies would sometimes dance along Estes' happiness.
'Everytime he spins, puts me in a trance.'
'Just one more time I might actually be put within his spell.'
Estes zooms infront of Shu again, making a somewhat, upset face, frowning at the rocks on his hand. "The color of your eyes are so pretty it doesn't match any of the rocks..." Shu took those words a bit deeper inside his mind, he was kind of embarrassed that someone praised his eyes besides his mother meanwhile Jirobu had always said negative things about it. Shrugging such a bad thought, Shu went back on looking at Estes. It was a weird praise since an eye color like his was very unique and rare, Shu hasn't seen any other people who shared the same color as his. He felt good and his eyes' pupil dilated when he received Estes' compliment.
The latter gasped when he saw Shu's eyes turned vividly purple. "Ah!!! Its glowing!! Amethyst!!" The ruckus caused by Estes confused Shu, he tilted his head, 'Glowing...?' He looked at his reflection on the water and saw his eyes emitting a violet shine. 'It really is glowing... what is this?..' Shu touched his cheeks and looked even closer.. staring at his reflection.
"So pretty... They are like gemstones.." The other boy mumbled under his breath and stood beside Shu, just watching..
Shu suddenly turned around and went over the riverside, Estes flinched when he realized what was happening: "Ah?! You're picking one for me too?! Waaahh!" Shu nodded, going back with yellow stones on his hand and one by one compared it to Estes' eyes.
Estes put both of his hands together and leaned to the rocks, "Hmm? Do my eyes really have those colors?" He blinked while the latter just nodded. It was so adorable that Estes had to threw his head back and laugh out loud.
Shu would think while watching him: 'And when his eyes catches the rays of the sun, it burns even brighter.' He adds, 'How golden..'
Estes and Shu threw the rocks and exempted one that was very close to each other's eye color, Shu's eyes also have gotten back to its natural state. Estes exchanged rocks with Shu while saying, "Well, Uuu, if you're hungry by now, we have a vegetable farm near the flower food source! Wanna come?" Shu nodded as he kept the rock inside his new warm clothes.
Shu had an idea what to eat instead, 'Corn.'
Travelling elsewhere, the two now began going for the flower field, which was Estes' favorite place, he hummed happily on the way and when they eventually reached the fields, Estes immediately ran to it while Shu was frozen to admire it from afar.
It was a wide wide field with all sorts of plants growing, though it looks like a field, it does looks more like a harvesting farm because of the separated classes of flowers planted together, the other side bloomed yellow, while the opposite grew another tone of red. Shu was very fascinated to see something like this. Are these all for Estes? Did he plant it all?
Pushing away his questions, he proceeds to head for Estes in the middle of the field who was on his way to show Shu the small section of vegetable side.
The way he turned around and tucked his hair on the back of his ears caught Shu in surprise, it made him stop and just stare, thinking on how 'The stars would kneel for your beauty..'
There he was standing before Estes, in a daze in the scenery as the wind would pass them. 'My head seems to be blank.. right now, i can only watch and wonder,' The white haired boy spun and enjoyed the sun on his skin as his hair danced with the wind he would sing a raw song of nature and hum along with the blue butterflies flying around the field.
'..how can he—'
'..dance so beautifully?'
"Uuu! This way!" Estes yelled to him and pointed at the red vegetables growing from the ground.
Shu took a step towards Estes, 'Because of you, i want to cherish every day, and every chirp of the birds.'
Estes picks red cabbages from the ground and hands them to Shu with a laugh.
'How I've been so greedy to live beside you, i apologize.'
Estes would constantly tuck his hair back and wave his head back and forth, spreading sparkles around the air.
'If anyone from the heavens would hear me, forgive me, but i have to be selfish for once. I want to be by his side and protect him.'
"Uuu! Pick your own meal! Let's have a feast! HAHAHAH!"
He nodded and smiled at Estes, crouching down to pull a gigantic carrot off the ground.
The time passed and the sun was already in the middle of the sky, the two headed back for the tent and went on a fun and long journey back to the village to rest.
Panting, they went inside the kind and cool tent to rest their legs from walking, but somehow the atmosphere was so funny that they couldn't help but laugh and smile, the two boys drinking water together.
The pink and fat apples Shu harvested when he was passing by was munched by the two immediately as they reached the small home. The crunchiness and sweetness of it somewhat sounded relaxing while they were resting. As late as they could realize, they were already in the brink of sleeping from the tiredness, so drained from the long walking travel. Shu and Estes slowly closed their eyes together and dozed off to dreamland while sitting on the tent's bed with Estes' head leaning on Shu's shoulder, sleeping soundly.
