Chapter 72: Bow or harp?

Seiya and Latifa were walking on stairs down under the main castle.

If another person was in his position then he would have been freaked out as it looked like the princess was bringing him to an underground dungeon to assassinate him or something like that.

However, his main concern was still the 20% shares of Amagi Entertainment that he brought for 60 million yen.

No matter how you look at it, she just gifted those shares. The price shouldn't be this low since even the land that this park owned was in billions of yen.

"Seiya-sama, are you still thinking about those shares?" Latifa asked while walking.

"At first, we sold them 10% shares for goodwill since they have good skills to attract other housing companies but now they have almost 35% shares acquired from different shareholders. They are also the ones that created Amagi Development Project."

That's sus.

But if Latifa sold 20% shares to him then does that mean she was already planning to involve Seiya in this conflict?

However, Seiya was not an idiot. The moment he brought these shares, he knew where he was stepping into.

There were also a lot of questions he wanted to ask like how she was defending this park until now but he probably would find out soon.

There was much to learn but Latifa must have guessed that he simply didn't have time to consider other matters then.

They then arrived at a corridor that was leading to a door at the end. Latifa then looked at Seiya with a little uneasy expression.

"Seiya-sama… I think you should wear this ring…" Latifa said and handed him a ring.

It was a beautifully crafted ring in a flower-like pattern but thus must be some kind of magic artifact since Seiya can't use appraisal on it.

"Before you ask… the thing I am going to give you is an artifact that maple land has defended for hundreds of years. To bestow you that artifact, I have to make some kind of contract with you…" Latifa explained with rosy cheeks.

"So in other words, I have to marry you in order to receive the artifact, is that the gist of it?" Seiya smiled.

"N-no it's not like that…! It's just…"

Seiya smiled and without any hesitation, put the ring on his finger. It glowed for a second before disappearing from his finger. The same flower-like pattern replaced the ring barely noticeably.

Seiya also noticed several notifications.

That's some other level of upgrades.

Latifa blushed and also raised her hand showing a similar pattern on her finger as well.

"So we are engaged?" Seiya asked.

"Yes, technically. But don't worry, I have…!"

Before she could finish her sentence, Seiya sealed her lips with his.

Latifa widened her eyes but then closed them with a tear of happiness leaking from them. She was a little tense since she has been taking advantage of Seiya's kindness and Seiya might get angry or leave her alone but she was now happy that Seiya is a man of his words.

Even though he never confesses his affecting in words, his actions were enough for her to believe in Seiya's love.

After a brief kiss, they separated their lips with their eyes longing for more.

"I was not bluffing when I declared you my woman." Seiya smirked, "But still, why are you risking so much for my sake?"

"Isn't that natural for me to assist my future husband?" Latifa smiled and then opened the door.

Seiya immediately felt an immense aura directly coming from what seemed like a bow but its several golden strings made it look like a harp.

Seiya widened his eyes as he immediately realized the true name of this weapon.

"Failnaught?"

That was the name that came out of Seiya's mouth. That's right guys, it was the legendary weapon of one of the knights of the round table, Tristan.

Seiya had played FGO in his previous life so he was well aware of this weapon and its name.

Then the realization hit him. Latifa is a princess of Maple Land which is a kingdom in the realm of fairies.

As far as he remembers, all the weapons of Knights of the Round Table are forged by fairies. Does that mean Excalibur or Galatine must also exist?

Latifa smiled, "I knew that Seiya-sama would notice the true name of this weapon. This is called Failnaught."

Latifa then started to explain.

In this world, the Arthurian Legend was indeed true.

After the fall of Round Table, their weapons were taken into Fairy Realm even when they were little destroyed. Maple Land, Latifa's homeland, was also able to get its hand on one. They then repaired and saved it ever since.

Excalibur and other swords like Galatine and Arondight were taken by fairies as they were originally forged by them.

'Damn, it is heavy!' Seiya gritted his teeth and grinned. The bow was heavy as 45 kg.

However, Seiya easily adjusts the weapon in his hands. With his Rank C Music skill and Accuracy skill, he didn't hesitate to pull the string and made a vacuumed shot.

The best thing about this bow is that Seiya doesn't have to aim at the enemy. Because the velocity of the arrow, the bow's angle adjustments, and above all, the loading speed of its arrows are all unusual.

There are also some cons like it drains a lot of magic power and he could only shoot a single arrow at a time.

He knew that he needed to increase his stats as well as accuracy skills at Rank S to use this noble phantasm.

"I am going to retire in a few weeks so this is the best reward I can give you. You will learn some management skills from me in these few days. So, don't talk anymore and pay attention to my class." Seiya said and started his lesson.

Although at the start, Seiya only agreed to take the park out of crisis and would have retired at t the end of the month but then he decided to complete a month of duration i.e he would leave the management to Latifa till 15th of May.

He wouldn't abandon the park as he was now a co-owner of the park but he would be connected to Latifa via live chat after this month.

For the past two weeks, he has neglected his training and other things so he wanted to spend time on getting stronger.

The dungeon he has discovered was also ready to be explored.

"Hai…" Latifa frowned and nodded.

It was then he saw the notification of sub-quest.

[Sub-quest has been completed.]

Seiya grinned as he also received a call from Seo.

So the problem of the female singer has been solved.
