Let's help them

In the kingdom of Aquestria...the royal court.

"Your highness we have some important news" the chief of the royal guards said to the king. "It seems the prince of Minos, Raven, has been said to have jumped into the pit of fire which was meant to be used during our war." He added as he looked around the room. King Eldridge was sitting on his golden throne with his wife Heather. The royal court was a gigantic room. Princess Libra had to sit at the Children's area along with her cousins and maids. Soon hearing the news, King Eldridge stood up and looked at the guard with a serious gaze. "Tell me, have they found him?" He asked, shocking everyone in the room. The kingdom of Minos was supposed to be their enemy, their rival their...their...their rival so why did he seem so worried all of a sudden? These thoughts ran through everyone's minds including the queen and princess. The king just ignored their confused eyes and just continued speaking. "Enemy or not, prince Raven is as important to Bargwandas as much as my little princess Libra is important to me and my queen. The thought of me losing my daughter is unbearable so I think we should help king Bargwandas find his son". Everyone's eyes widened and their jaws dropped. Of course their king was nice enough to feel sorry and concerned for the enemy but actually helping them?! That was not going to happen anytime soon. "Your highness" the chief wuard spoke,"I don't think it is a wise idea to be helping the enemy in this situation my Lord." His argument made sense. Even the queen thought the Chief was telling the truth about this and that the king shouldn't be helping the enemy. The king then said, "I don't care . Don't forget that they are also royalty. We have a duty to help each other weather we like it or not. And..." He paused and looked at Libra who was paying attention to everything that was happening. "I would like to make peace with king Bargwandas before I announce my daughter's marriage to an angel prince I met a few years ago."
