Meanwhile...in the Fire pit
Henry and Raven watched as the king brutally killed everyone of the soldiers with his bare hands. Raven has never witnessed his father actually kill before. He had only heard stories of his hellish self but he had never imagined it to be this...this... terrifying. The way his eyes blazed with the desire to kill and how his mighty horns punched through the soldiers' armor and skin was horrific. And the scary thing is that he was smiling through it all. Raven couldn't help but close his eyes. He was still too young to witness this. Henry on the other hand was just staring at the ruthless king as if he was attending an important lesson being taught at school. He didn't seem bothered by the fact that his own soldiers were being killed. When every last soldier was lying dead on the ground, the king retracted his horns as he stood there, smiling as if he had just won a race. He then took a few steps towards Henry and stopped 2 meters away from him. "Does that prove my point angel? Do you now see how dangerous I can be?" He said in a mocking voice. "Go ahead and kill my son. I dare you to try and dig your own grave." As he said those words, Raven felt a small stinge of pride flow through him. He was really amazed at how his father handled the situation so we'll without letting go of his ego. He was really proud to be called the great king Bargwandas's son. "Your highness, as a soldier I would rather die than let myself now my head to the enemy so with that...I'd rather die than give you your son willingly your highness." Henry calmly said without hesitation. "Oh is that right? Then tell your king that when I deliver your dead body!" She shouted before taking out his sword and swinging it to slice Henry's neck. But before the sword could even touch Henry, something appeared in from of him, shielding him from the sword. Instead of hitting the man, the sword hit a blue magical barrier. Raven, Henry and the king's eyes widened as they looked at the blue object in the middle of them. The barrier disappeared and a woman appeared where the barrier was. It was Crystal. Everyone looked at her in amazement. Her white skin, her blonde hair and her Emerald eyes ,she...was beautiful. The woman then glared at Henry and disappeared along with him. The king was first to snap out of the trance he was out in and stared at Raven. Raven's gaze was still fixed on the spot where the two disappeared. With a blink of an eye the shackles around Raven's hands broke as the king sliced them with his sword. Raven then snapped out of the trance and faced his father. He was about to speak when he suddenly fell to the ground. The king just stared at his slumped body and bent down to pick him up. He carried him like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder and flied up and out of the pit. When they got out, many soldiers were surrounding the pit with wide eyes. They never expected to see the prince like that, bruised and messed up. What exactly happened down there? The king looked around and saw the dead bodies of the maids on the ground. As he had ordered, they were covered with blood and bruises. The king's gaze fell on the chief soldier that was ordered to make sure the fire pit was filled with fire traps and torturous things instead of being a huge damn useless hole! He put the prince's body down and flew away. The soldiers just looked at each other with curious eyes. "What should we do with the prince?" One soldier asked and another hit the back of his head, "what do you mean idiot?! We should call a doctor."
