By the Coast Pub

"It's my home," Ashley answered.

"Your home? Oh! The one that used to be a pub?" Gilbert asked as he looked at Ashley.

Ashley nodded in response without glancing at him, keeping her eyes on the abandoned pub.

The pub was narrower in front but stretched towards the coast.

Those tall establishments always covered it, but the folks always found this pub. The cold breeze and the sound of waves surrounded this pub, making it more relaxing for the customers. But this once warm and delightful pub turned into a broken and deserted one.

The wooden sign with the pub's name on the pathway is gone; the only thing left is the wood stuck to the ground. The pub itself looked old and abandoned. The cobblestone walls and intricate wooden pillars made up the outer appearance. The foggy glass windows and the locked door by a big chunk of timber made it seem like a haunted house.

Ashley started walking towards the pub as Gilbert followed him.
