"You b..." Countess Harriston got slapped by Ashley before she could finish her words. The Countess held up her red left cheek.
"I'm not a bitch. You and your daughter are bitches. And I will never marry Count Lottway's son. Find your spoiled brat daughter, and don't make me her substitute." "You ungrateful wench!" The Count held her hand and tried to slap her. But a strong man's force stopped the hands of the Count. When he saw whose hand stopped him, his face became pale. He couldn't believe that this man would be here. "Y-your Grace? W-why are y-you here?" The Count was so afraid that he stuttered his words. The man released the Count's hands and hid Ashley at his back. "Hurt her, and you're dead." He said it with a cold tone.

Ashley watched him walk away as she thought, 'Lord Owen… Are you one of Naver's people, too? Just like your servant?'

When Hain and Melek tried finding Naver, they told Ashley about the accomplice of Naver whom Pliena had tied in the tree during their fight and died afterwards.

Upon seeing his dead body, Ashley immediately recognised the man they talked about.

"Are you sure it was him?" She asked Hain, who nodded as an answer. "I know him."

Evan looked at him, "What? How do you know him?"

She faced him, "I saw him together with Lord Owen in the city, and he was also the one who brought an invitation for Marianne's tea party before. I believed he was his servant or a knight." Ashley explained.

"He was his knight and his right hand," Evan said as he looked at Hain.

"Then the man you called Owen, he might be also his follower or an accomplice of his," Hain said.
